The service after buying a scooter is top notch, and your two-wheel vehicle will be ready when they say it will be ready. First oil change free with a purchase and owner Jim is friendly. He has been in business for more than 25 years that I know of.

I purchase a BARELY used vintage scooter. The owner is fantastically friendly. He had a few at the time but said he was getting more in in about a month. He called me less than 2 weeks later with a 'killer deal.' I LOVE this scooter!! It's a real converstation starter! I tell everyone who stops me, to go see NorCal scooters. The owner is very nice to teachers!!

Took my vintage Vespa to Nor Cal Scooter (Sac city cycles) and they did what midtown scooters (who I would avoid at all costs) would not do. They found the part I needed and went above and beyond what I expected. Take your Vespas to this shop don't get ripped off at specialty Vespa repair shop. I will never go anywhere else for service. Honest and very cool people to deal with!

I went there about a year ago with cash in my pocket ready to buy a pit bike. Owner was on the phone. Neither his wife or him greeted me. He just kept talking on the phone. So i turned around and walked out.Guess i didnt look RICH?

Went into Norcal to buy lots of stuff. Ended up buying two items. To be truthful, I kind of regret doing that due to the service. The service people here were inattentive . They never once asked us if they could help us or if we wanted to look at something. These two Emplyee guys were having a heavy conversation and barely even bothered to look up at us when we entered the building. They mostly watched us the whole time we were there shopping. I got the feeling that they thought we were going to steal something. Like we were really going to steal something from Locked glass counters & display cases.. ha! They bordered on the line of being semi rude.. They kept bragging about being in cahoots with the Placer County Sheriffs Department. What that meant I do not know. Anyway, I've got lots of dough to spend in places like these. However, I will not be returning here to Norcal anytime in the near future, if ever. They had a fairly nice display of firearms but nothing so spectacular that I would ever want to go back there after my experience with them. Sad, that they don't know who the big spenders are.. He he.. not that, that matters in the least. Even if you were there to buy nothing at all, , just browsing, It is still good business practice to at least address your customers in a polite manner. Get it together man! Seriously?

I had my very well kept scoot towed to this place yesterday, told them what the entire problem was, and was assured that they would get my scooter running and give it a thorough once over. They called me very shortly thereafter and told me to come pick it up which I did. I was charged $140 for fixing an electrical short. It ran home with no problem, but would not start this morning when I went out to ride it to the hospital for my shift. It was making the same noise I described to the shop yesterday. When I called, I was not treated with much courtesy, and told that they had fixed the problem I brought it in for, and that since it had run on my way home that it was basically not their problem. I was talked over, argued with, and spoken down to. I was told that there is no way to check a battery besides trying to start the scoot. I'm not sure if they think all of their customers are stupid or just the female ones, but please don't use these guys if you enjoy being treated like a human being.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! They lie, they will put used parts on and charge you for brand new ones. The "mechanic" (I use this term VERY loosely as his work is absolutely horrible) and his wife are unprofessional and when caught in a lie, will refuse you service. I will be reporting them to BBB and BAR as well. This business is potentially killing people. They sold me a used tire "brand new" that separated and I almost crashed. Then when changing the tire, the "mechanic" Johnny completely ignored the gaping hole the tire flap made in my air intake. Thank God I'm still alive so I can possibly save others by letting you know this business is unsafe, unprofessional, and unethical.
