I totally recommend Nine16 Jiu Jitsu. My friend Keith has done an amazing thing with his school. He has built a community that fosters leader, ship, and confidence with children and adults alike. The instructors and staff are very kind, supportive and helpful. I wish my kids were still young and living with me. I would enroll them immediately. You should call them today?

Both my son and I have been training here for about 11 months now. Learned a ton and can see the growth in confidence in my son. The coaches are all great, the students are all great, the space is neat and clean. Sign up, you won't regret it.

I dropped in while on vacation in Sacramento. Keith was welcoming and excited to have an outsider drop by. He is passionate and driven about Brazilian Jiu-jitsu as shown through his technical ability. I would recommend anyone visiting to check his gym out.

5 stars all the way..... i went in for my 1 week free trial and it took me all of 1 hour to decide to sign up. greatest decision i made in life. the coaches are amazing down to earth yet highly skilled & passionate in their craft. ive been to many martial arts gyms from muay thai, mma, boxing etc. the environment here is second to none rather you want to compete or pick up a new hobby. you are welcomed just the same and get the equal attention no favoritism vibes. if you're on the fence rather to come or not, this is your sign. i promise you wont regret it!!!! best dojo in sacramento

My 7 year old daughter has been learning jiu jitsu at Nine16 for 2.5 years now. Coach Keith and the other coaches are so amazing with the kids. Not only do the coaches do a superb job teaching the techniques of bjj, but they also emphasize discipline, hard work, being a good partner, and provide an encouraging, positive, fun environment. We love Nine16!

Dropped to train again with coach Isaac and Keith. I love their warm up drills and instructional. Class is intimate so the coaches can watch and coach you through your drills and rolls. Gym is clean and atmosphere is awesome. Highly recommend training here if you are considering jiu jitsu. It has help me dropped off over 13+ lbs and my cardio has been the best it's ever been and I'm about to hit 40 very soon. Jiu Jitsu and the coach will teach your kids not only defense and confidence, but discipline and honor which will carry over into their lives. Have both my son training in this art for past 2 years. Again if you been thinking about it, do it. Nothing to lose but weights. It will change you.

Great vibes at Nine 16. I was visiting from out of town and everyone was super welcoming and helpful. Also a bunch of beasts on the mats. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're near.

Recently, I completed two private sessions of Striking with Joe Lee at Nine16 Ji-jitsu that I appreciated and enjoyed. As a full time college student in the area of Social Work, I appreciate the engagement because these sessions were so fluid and fun for me; the learning of basic fundamental footwork and striking helped improve my mechanics and understanding. Also, the pricing was reasonable and affordable for a private session; and as a private trainer in the dog training community, I understand nothing amounts to the level of constructive critique that comes from a one-on-one session. I appreciate this trainers knowledge and teachings. This place is filled with knowledge and direction and is a definite recommend to anyone looking for skills development and meeting new people.
