Next Door to the B&L

I had the most magical wedding this past weekend and I have to give a huge shout out to Mulvaneys next door space and the event coordinator Vicky and the entire crew here!!!! I used Vicky's recommendation and hired Wing Woman Events and they were the absolute best! I can not be happier with everything!!! You all have me and my husband the best day of our lives! And the food was incredible!!!!!!

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on August 23rd, 2019. I don't even know where to begin here - Next Door was just the most amazing venue, the vibe inside is upscale rustic with brick walls and high ceiling with exposed beams, but that is exactly the vibe I was looking for. I was debating between Next Door and another venue in Midtown, and Next Door was pricier, but the interior of the venue alone made the additional cost worth it. Working with Lexi and Sarah was super easy and enjoyable - they answered all of mine (& my husbands) questions promptly and thoroughly. My husband asked about 5x as many questions as me, so this is no small feat :) I always felt heard and that my needs were taken care of. For those who don't know, the food at Mulvaney's B&L is some of the best in Sacramento, so the dinner for my event was INCREDIBLE - I hate to say this but it was better than the food at my wedding. I still dream of the chicken and polenta they served. You will not get better food at a rehearsal dinner or even small wedding at this price - I guarantee it. We had a pre-tasting with the main bartender at Mulvaney's and customized our cocktails - they were incredible, I've never had so many french 75s in one night. Next Door also let us bring our own wine for a corkage fee which saved us about $500, it was great that they had that option.I can not recommend Next Door more highly - if you want a classy venue that will put your guests in awe, this is the space for you!

COOL venue, AWESOME TEAMWe recently hosted a company event at "Next Door" and it exceeded our expectations.The planning process was smooth and easy and Lexi was a pleasure to work with. Requesting a change or updating something was easy and just a relaxed vibe when working with the B&L team.The day of the event, the place looked amazing. Lots of detail on setup and the team that worked the event were fun, professional, and happy to help.Food was also fantasic and plenty of it. The only thing I would note as the line at the bar got backed up. The B&L did staff two bartenders for our party of 100 and tried to keep up with the line, but it still got backed up here a bit. Definitely would recommend and would host another event here.
