This tour seemed like a good alternative to the wine train. As other yelpers said, it was very relaxing and scenic. I would love to rank the tour a lot higher, but talkative fellow passengers intoxicated with wine killed the peaceful, relaxing moments. We didn't get Captain Kevin, but from our brief interaction he seemed great. Our captain (Captain Dalfred) gave us a good picture of what it was like to live off the Napa river and details about his pre-retirement life.Overall, this would be a great tour if you just want to chill along the river and appreciate the scenery. Your tour will be greatly influenced by your fellow passengers. This isn't really a "romantic" boat tour, but a chill tour to show you the scenery around the river. The two hours flies by fast.

Such a fun, relaxing little river tour. Do not take this cruise thinking it's a "lively, exciting" boat tour. Take it knowing it's a relaxing, scenic ride, and bring a nice bottle of wine and some food (which we didn't and totally regretted).Kevin is a nice captain guy, who thinks he's funnier than he is, but a really cool guy. You should consider this for team-building, company events.Free parking in the lot, hardly any people on the river, very quiet and peaceful.

My husband and I had the best river tour this past Saturday! I've lived in Napa for just over 10 years now, and it was really interesting to see the town from a new perspective. There is so much more to the river that you have no way of seeing from land. We had Bob for our captain, who we really enjoyed - very personable! I can't wait for my parents and/or friends to visit as I think this boat tour will be a must. Paul from Napa River Adventures did everything to schedule our tour and ensure we had a great trip. Thanks again Paul and Bob! Oh, and one last thing. As someone else mentioned, don't forget to bring wine. After all, this is Napa!

I did this as a package with Bel Abri and we were lucky enough to get Captain Kevin. It's a very relaxing 2 hr tour with lots of fun history. We enjoyed it so much we are going to plan another trip for my mom's birthday. I highly recommend packing a lunch with a nice bottle of wine, there is a table on the boat to enjoy. Lots of free parking and easy to get to. Also, if you have them bring binoculars for the seals and birds.

Our group went on this delightful boat tour in conjunction with an offsite meeting we had in Napa. Although most of our group is very knowledgeable about wine and wine country, we were all surprised that this aspect of the area even existed. Captain Kevin was teriffic - giving us the ecological and environmental background to this very special area; while allowing us to have our own conversations. We had our own food and wine (arranged by Napa River Adventures) that were excellent. The entire experience was educational, relaxing and overall wonderful for our group. I do believe that having the boat to ourselves was key to our enjoyment.
