Murphys Inn Motel

I adore this little town! My son was getting married at Ironstone Vineyards and money was getting tight. I looked everywhere for a place to stay for 2 nights and was happy to come across Murphys Inn. The rooms were clean, the mattress was comfortable and the shower was hot! The reception area had an odor that crept upstairs (no elevator btw), mixed with smoking just outside (reason for 4 stars inside of 5). The carpet seems old and dated (probably holds many odors). The price wasn't bad and the location was good- next to the highway- but traffic didn't seem too bad!All in all, I would recommend! *The diner next door is good!!

We booked our motel room just a few hours before check in. The front staff was surprised, especially considering they had a completely full weekend but the were able to immediately (and early then check in) provide us with a room. They did notify us that the toiletries shipment was late and after a full weekend they were out of soap but that they would have some for us soon. No problem! 3 hours later we had soap!The motel is older but super clean, neat and safe and also a great location for walking around town and getting some dinner. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are immaculate and cozy. And as a plus, they were super accommodating to my service dog. We will definitely be staying here again.

Super excellent. Super clean. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and you can also walk across the parking lot to the Diner. We had breakfast there and equally friendly and welcoming. Murphys really impressed us and the Murphys Inn Motel was a perfect choice. Super great experience.

First visit at Murphys Inn Motel - smooth check-in experience with super friendly front desk clerk. Plenty of parking. Overall - common areas are clean but there's a bit of dust on light fixtures and the automatic sliding front door was not functioning properly. The room was very clean, the bed was immaculate with multiple clean mattress pads and a cover that fully encases the mattress. Some furnishings were a bit shabby: at least two lampshades featured peekaboo plastic liners with great jagged boots missing (obvious when the lights are turned on), the upholstered chairs had some mysterious stains. The toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) appeared partially used and there were only a few tissues in the box. There is some noise from guests overhead but noises from the road not too bad, barely noticeable. Overall a fairly restful night and I plan to stay here again.

I stayed one night and about an hour after going to bed started itching. I woke up to being totally covered in BED BUG BITES which are incredibly itchy and sore, I'm miserable!Stay away from this place it's old, run down and obviously not well sanitized.They are also refusing to refund me!See the photos for proof.

Stayed several times recently while traveling. Friendly staff. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The lobby and hallways could use some attention to cleaning. Often overlooked in some places. Convenient breakfast across the parking lot.

Came here for a wedding weekend. Great location to town. Very clean and friendly staff! Shannon rocked!

RUDE condescending man at front desk; his Mom was nicer but HORRIBLE, sexist experience. Read and believe the negative reviews. Room smelled of urine, had to leave window open all night. Disgusting with broken run-down room (door broken, fire alarm non existent, toothpaste splatter on mirror- I could go on). Will not be back. Stayed here 2 years ago- night & day difference, it's like they are trying to run this place into the ground.

Dirty bedding, missing smoke detector, out door lock broken with exposed wires, soap/shampoo/conditioner smaller than my thumb, room smells like urine, don't go near the pool.... I booked two rooms over a month in advance, two days later I called to change one of the rooms from a king to 2 queens. On check in date the "owner" claims to have no record of the change request. I provided the ticket number and he still says he can't do anything. (Walking through the parking lot at 8pm, there are clearly 2 double queen rooms unoccupied on the lower level and a bright vacancy sign in the window). The owner refused to provide a refund of my prepaid $838. I had a wonderful experience in 2022 and 2023 at this hotel. I'm so disappointed with the change in ownership. Please go somewhere else..

Very clean and exceptionally friendly greeting from Jenine upon our arrival. Whenever we approached the front desk, anyone that was working, there was more than eager to assist us. I highly recommend this place.
