Mountain House Bar

This place is a diamond in the rough. We were vending at an event this afternoon and found Mountain House Bar to have all the bells and whistles. From the nice outdoor patio to the rustic but quaint looking bar, one could tell there was history there that has been cherished. We loved the fig tree in the back and the lounge chairs with gas fire stove. Their owner was a nice guy! There is also ample parking and the drinks are perfectly priced. We will definitely return when looking for a venue or for having a low key date night.

What a hidden gem!! Word of mouth got us wanting to check out this place and so glad we did. From the outside it's a little rough looking but once inside it's awesome! Tad was the bartender for the evening and immediately greeted us, and shared some history of this very old bar from the 1800's. He let us try a couple beer samples to choose something new. We wandered the grounds out back where they hold concerts. Very well kept, not gonna lie though, it's the country and there were a few little critters but it almost added to the charm of this place! Bathrooms immaculate for a bar!! We will definitely be back!!

I've lived in MH for 12 years now, and I'm sad that I was missing out on this place this whole time. I finally got the guts to go and we went back to back 3 weekends. I couldn't believe such an amazing bar was around the corner. I can see us spend hours here with the kids out back. The kids are happy to get to play outside and we're happy with a nice cold beer in our hands. We've been to their Cinco de mayo, which was fun for the whole family.

I've been in Tracy 22 years. Knew about this location but just never got around to visiting. This past Saturday I finally did. Much bigger than I expected. More beer taps than I expected. The two bartenders were cool as heck too. It very close to my house. Parking can get cramped when busy, but nothing too crazy. I will definitely be back possibly for karaoke night...

Great drinks and friendly bartender. Ambiance is good if you go on special days, other wise its pretty laid back. Dont go on a hot day though, if its hot go after night.

Got the pulled pork slider and onion rings, they were great. Solid spot to stop by and the bartender was super nice!

I believe the owner's name is Lani, and she was very rude and very know it all when i asked her a simple question. Also tried to act smart with me. But its all good, just wanted to understand how she was or why she was like that and let it go. Aside from the food being sub par, everything else is okay. Definitely not coming back here.
