Mountain Bike San Francisco

We rented 2 aluminum fully suspended Specialized bikes from this business. It is a small room behind the bike museum.The person who welcomed us was very nice. He had the bikes ready when we arrived and took the time to adjust the saddle and made sure we were comfortable with our ride. You can give back the bikes when ever you want, which is definitely a plus as you don't need to worry about being late. Will come back!

Effortless rental! Outstanding! Mark was awesome and took care of everything! Beautiful ride!

We had an awesome 1/2 day tour and instruction with Mark. We hired two Specialized Turbo eBikes and Mark was a blast to hang with. We were a little rusty and challenged by some of the routes. I learnt what intermediate means the hard way on some of the downhill switchbacks. However, with Mark's coaching we walked away significantly better than we started. He was a fountain knowledge and we met a few characters along the route.Also a shout out to Marin Museum of Bicycling next to Mark's store. We met Joe Breeze, one of the original batch of MBers, while still dusty after a day having enjoyed the fruits of his innovation.Lastly, we can also recommend to cold beer and BBQ across the road at the Waystation.

Mark was gracious enough to reschedule the tour not once, but twice due to really bad luck in weather. And Eric who gave the tour was patient and very willing to give pointers along the way. Although this is great for any level rider, I'd recommend having a baseline comfort level with mountain biking before booking. The trek uphill and downhill both proved tougher for me as a beginner. Lots of roots to climb.Overall, very satisfied and highly recommend. P.S. don't forget to grab that celebratory beer at the end -- you've earned it!

Overall excellent experience renting a bike- the bike was in perfect condition (it was brand new) and the guy at the store was personable and very available. Highly recommend and cheaper than other local options for a dual suspension bike.

Had a blasting renting the Specialized Stumpjumper ST from Mark at MountainBikeSF. He's flexible with the pickup and the drop off system is easy, highly recommend renting from here. Great selection of new bikes.
