Mossdale Landing Community Park

Great neighborhood park with a Splash Pad, playground, baseball fields, basketball court, exercise area, paved paths, gazebo picnic areas, couple of small BBQ's AND restrooms which is rare in most parks around here. There's plenty of handicap parking. Parking is also right next to the playground, splash pad, basketball courts and picnic area. It gets busy on the weekends; however, the weekends it's mostly the locals only. When it's crazy hot and you're tired of being inside and you want an alternative to the rivers, this is a great local option that's FREE as in paid for by our taxpayers $.

It's ok... i guess i expected more from the rave reviews but i wasn't too impressed.Splash pad is slippery, kids use caution don't run. Wish the basketball court was away from the playground and picnic tables, its a different crowd.But its a splash pad park so worth the trip somewhat-

Great park! We stopped here on our way home from Santa Cruz to Sacramento so our kids could play at the splash pad (I got in too because it was hot!). A little too warm to play on the playground but they have shade, for the picnic tables and restrooms. Nice park Lathrop!

We visited this park and it was walled off with a "closed until 10/31" and someone was pressure washing the equipment. This sucks when you have a 3year old excited about visiting a new park. The bathroom was also being pressure washed. There are lots of big open green fields but no shade, and not really any benches. The grass seems overly watered because some of it was really muddy in places.

Big park featuring a water park during the summer, 3 large baseball fields also good for softball, a full court basketball, children's playground, a couple canopies with benches underneath, descent amount of benches with tables, clean bathrooms and a lot of parking. Family friendly park great for walks, parties, picnics, sports or just hanging out. Very safe and in a nice community.

My daughter loves this park. It has a nice water park area and a fun playground she likes to play at.

Excellent and huge park! Place is especially nice when the water fountains are running. Just be careful to not get so close to the people with huge dogs, esp if you have kids.

Nice family park. Quiet most of the time. Well kept. Good place to bring family for a picnic bbq.
