Morris Chapel

This chapel: so beautiful and charming and big enough up to 300 guests. Exterior: perfect for pictures with beautiful roses and trees. Wedding coordinator: sucks so bad. She sent me out to the alter when my husband wasn't even up there. My husband never got the chance to see me walking down the aisle , which is the most important part when you're getting MARRIED!!!!! Overall beware of their staffs. They all promised all the right thing but didn't deliver it. Super disappointed!

This chapel could not have been any more perfect for my cousin's wedding! First, you don't really need any type of decoration inside as the chapel is beautiful the way it is. The stained glass windows and the little intricate details inside the chapel really made up for the amazing photos the photographers were able to shoot throughout the ceremony.Second, I'd like to give the staff a shoutout for taking care of all of us (the bride, groom, and the party) from the day of the rehearsal to the day of the wedding. The coordinators were available to answer any of our questions throughout the process and they really went out of their way to make sure the wedding ran as smoothly as possible...so thank you! Lastly, the location is perfect to shoot for photos in- and outside of the chapel as it is located inside the University of the Pacific campus. The flowers outside the chapel were stunning. I highly recommend this wedding venue!

Asian 25(M): I was racially profiled at a wedding here because the family before the event I was going to happened to be asian and Caucasian, congrats btw! But anyways I was attending an African American wedding about an hour or two after the previous event and sitting in the chapel for about 30 minutes. Then one of the ladies who worked for the chapel came up to me and thought I was lost or forgotten or something. Its a really nice place for sure, the stained glass is beautiful but the way she approached me just made me feel a certain way. I mean, she saw me the night before during the rehearsal, lol.

Ahhhhhh..... Morris Chapel. Tomorrow will be 5 years to the day that my dear sweet husband promised to love, honor and put up with me. The wedding coordinator was very helpful. The church itself is simply exquisite. And the weather was magnificent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Officiated a wedding here for a former student. Between the gorgeous Gothic architecture, the stained glass windows, and the organ, the environment was both romantic and solemn. Picturesque scenery also make this a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding.

I have loved my experience with Morris Chapel thus far! Our wedding is May 26, 2019 and so far the process has been very easy! Jan and Laura really helped me figure out dates and times and I'm looking forward to our wedding day! UOP alumni!

Best wedding venue town 100%!!! Like a scene out of the movies. My wife and I got married here 2 and half years ago. Just a lovely setting all round inside and out. Great place to take photos. The staff keeps this place looking stunning year round! Make sure to book at least a year out if your thinking about this venue.

I've been at Pacific for the past 4 years now and there has not been a weekend where I don't see a wedding going on. The area around the chapel is lush and makes for a great background for photos. The chapel itself is decently sized and has a very intimate feeling about it. I hear that Alumni get ~50% off so I guess that's one good thing about graduating and pouring all your $$$$$$ into this school. As for mass I do not know all the times but I know there's one on Sundays at 5PM.

A beautiful chapel indeed! I was here just yesterday for a friend's wedding ceremony and it was pretty much picture perfect. Def a great place to tie the knot in Stockton.

This is an overdue review for Morris Chapel and our wedding events coordinator Jan Wammack. We had our wedding ceremony in August 2019, and words are not enough to express how happy we were choosing Morris Chapel for our wedding. I had jokingly mentioned about having a wedding there when I was a UOP student, and I am happy to say that it was an absolutely beautiful experience. From our first meeting with Jan, to our special day celebrating our union, Jan and her team fulfilled all our dreams. They put the "pro" in professionalism and really made us feel cared for during the whole planning process. We had an American vow exchange, as well as a Chinese tea ceremony there. There is a huge room for the bridal party to get hair and makeup done on site, and a smaller room for the groom and groomsmen to relax in. There's also a little alcove that is designated for that important 1st look, far away from early guests for maximal privacy. We also cannot forget to mention the gorgeous stained glass, so breathtaking in person and beautiful in photos. We also appreciated that we had plenty of seating for guests and indoor AC, an absolute necessity during the Stockton summer heat. Another plus is that there is plenty of parking for guests, and lots of pretty spots to take pictures around the chapel. Jan helped to create our wedding day timeline, select our processional music, and coordinated refreshments for the time between our two ceremonies. The music is clearly heard throughout the whole chapel, and we would strongly recommend adding the sound package to your wedding day; the sound tech blended everything in seamlessly. We loved how there was a 2-person team during the wedding rehearsal and during the wedding day; one person stayed with me (the bride) the whole time and the other would check on guests and venders. During rehearsal, the team gave us great ideas on seating arrangements for our families and even let us borrow a personal hot water dispenser for our Chinese tea ceremony. We had a bit of an emergency the day of due to a groomsman's pants splitting in the most unfortunate of places but the team came to the rescue with a sewing kit as part of their well-stocked emergency kit. If you are considering Morris Chapel for your wedding (or anything else), please be assured that you will be completely satisfied. Choosing Morris Chapel was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning...It's been months since our wedding, and my husband and I are still so grateful and happy to Jan and the team for making our wedding day so smooth and fabulous.
