Moon Cafe Gallery

The coolest shop we have been to in the area in forever ! It is not common to see art like this around these parts but , it did not disappoint!So, many cool items and the owner/artist was very kind and was happy to show us around! We will be back!

The Moon Cafe Gallery is found in a small Historic Chinese Community along the Sacramento River called Locke. The town of Locke is registered in the US National Registry of Historic Places. This building was originally a dry-goods/ housewares/hardware/ store run by the co - founder of Locke "Lee Bing" and later became home to Moon Cafe serving authentic Chinese Food !Today the Moon Cafe is a collaborate art gallery where local artist can displaying their artworks. Items found here are one of a kind and quite unique ! Items such as paintings/sculptures/jewelry/ toys & comic books. I even saw wall mounted deer heads. So expect the unexpected!Not sure of days closed and store hours. My wife and I happened to visit on an weekend. As always thanks for reading ! Live/Love/Travel. !!!

I love this place!!! I was looking for gifts that were different and original. This is the place if that is what you are looking for!!! I found gifts for my family and friends!!!! They have art from local artists as well as different gifts that are not too expensive!!! I loved walking around and just looking at the various types of art!!!! I will be back around the holiday season to do my Christmas shopping Moon Cafe!!!!!!!
