Mitchell's Modesto Harley-Davidson

I'm a new rider on a Haley Street Glide, and the service dept here at Mitchell's took more than awesome care of me ... I burned out my gear shifter (a common rookie issue) not only were they able repair the issue at a cost I could afford, but they also calibrated my clutch and gear shifter for my skill level and gave me tips and techniques I lacked ... a month later and she's still riding great ... it feels like a whole new bike! Will definitely be a long time customer for years to come.

Great Harley Davidson store in the outskirts of Modesto, that has a wide variety of motorcycles, apparel, decor and other Harley Davidson themed items! We found a beautiful road glide here for a reasonable price, and everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful along the way! Highly recommend this Harley Davidson location!

I've been in here a few times, front girls are nice. Parts dept is usually cool and try to be helpful. Last week i took the front wheel off my custom build to mitchells for a new tire which i provided. Its a billet aluminum wheel, polished etc, about $1,200 wheel. When i picked it up it was covered in stains and grease. I put it up on the counter and tried rubbing some of the stains with a soft towel i that i brought with me. They didnt change at all. I asked the service dept manager Sam about it. He said his chemicals dont cause stains. Lol well obviously they do i said. Also theres a big ding from a wrench near the valve stem. Both were denied. As i explained i went over the entire wheel before leaving it, they accepted no responsibilty. In fact it seemed they were enjoying my frustration. Fortunately i was able to remove the stains at home with some good polish. The ding in the wheel i suppose ill have to live with. Well it doesn't end there. When i mounted the wheel tonite, i give it a spin and its bent to hell. Billet aluminum wheel, bent from mounting a tire. I cant post video here or i wud show the bend in the wheel. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING HERE for service. They dont give a crap about ur bike. Go ANYWHERE else! These guys are a disgrace to motorcycles everywhere.Oh, btw the manager Sam started dropping F bombs on me at the counter. And this guy was dumb as a rock. He had no idea what to do or say to a customer with questions. Please!! Stay away from here if u respect ur ride.

Well we just bought our third hd from Mitchell's . The sales and parts and service are very knowledgeable on what they sell and parts and services. We traded my 2016 in for a trike and the offer were good , This why I buy my bikes here . Come and see for yourself.

Been going here forever, beautiful bikes, very helpful service and parts department, everything is great quality. Parts department will find aftermarket parts for you.

So now this retard owner wants to chime in months later making up lies. Here is a receipt of the original purchase and product was brought back in unworn in its original packaging with tags within a week. Go ahead and post the video of me being rude to your staff if you are an honest person. Why would anyone want to wear shoes that do not fit perfectly while riding? If the owner lies and cheats customers over less than 150 bucks, imagine what this asshole does to people who actually buy bikes from them?? On another note, I don't think anyone buys anything from these idiots given their demeanor and lack of any kind of customer service. I also brought a cvo road glide for a minor recall at the same time to their service dept who ended up scratching the top of the tank after they put a heavy tool mat on it. I bet this asshole owner had no clue what i was in for and why i even stepped inside the building. No common sense there either. Through and through this dealership is full of idiots and no wonder it started at the top with its dimwit owner. I hope harley corporation takes a note of this lying, cheating and dishonest owner and disassociates their brand from him.

Went in on 7/30/24 with my wife and best friend who also owns a harley, with the full intention of buying their last 2023 low rider s for the right price. I was met by a terrible sales rep who goes by "skully." We tried to negotiate and at the end I offered him my business card ans asked him to give me a call in case they change their mind on my offer. He then very rudely said "no, thanks were are not that desperate (my offer being 18k out the door for an almost 2 yr bike)... I then walk around with my group as he then followed us around calling out to me in the middle of the showroom saying "I want to help Juan!" As we were about to leave he then goes up to us and says in front of my wife, best friend, and the entire showroom "how about I show you something you can actually afford?" He then laughed in my face and tried to "fist bump me." I then said trying to keep my cool "why the hell he would say this to ANYONE who comes into a place of business who could potentially be their customer"? He then tried to back peddle and said he was just kidding after insulting me in front of my wife and best friend! This is btw the first time I ever met this guy... We left dealership and I decided to return yesterday after I relaxed a bit. I spoke with Mike the sales manager to tell him about my experience. He didnt seem like he cared and I don't believe he even apologized for my received treatment from his rep. After this awkward encounter I left and told him I will never come back or ever consider buying a HD from them... A little about me is that I'am a young professional who works in the area, volunteers my time to the community and served my country with the best friend that brought me there. I normally try to support small businesses in my area, but this is one that I will never return to.

Service Department or mechanics are not reliable. For mechanics or bike service I do not recommend Modesto Harley for mechanics. They're supposed to fix problem but bike continues to make noise and stall. They take money and say they fixed the bike but have no clue what the problem is. And bike continues to have problems after paying for repairs. Also they give you run around on timeline for service repairs and ordering parts. They tell you it will take this long to fix then once scheduling to fix bike it takes way longer to fix and they don't communicate with you. Their communication is terrible. Yes they have nice bikes with decent competitive prices if your looking to buy a new bike but I do not recommend mechanics or service department.

Mitchell's service department have performed major repairs on my bike in two separate occasions. Service manager Sam, technician's: John, , Bobby, Alex, and the dealership's owner himself have provided me with personalized service, taken care my ride while looked-out for my satisfaction, provided best-possible maintenance repairs and service at a fair price.

I traded in my Iron 883 for a Softail and had the best experience. Nate made everything super easy and smooth. I would highly recommend to work with Nate, and would absolutely buy from him again. Thanks Nate!
