The season is nearly over so we wanted to head out early in the day to pick some cherries before it warms up in Brentwood Check out Mike's for Ranier and Lapin's. We were very pleased to find a couple of Ranier trees still with plenty of perfect fruit. They have plenty of ladders which is a plus. I've been to other farms where either they don't have them or there are very few. Thank you!Ample dirt lot, plastic bag for picking and cash only. Please support this local business.

Came here to pick cherries this weekend and while it's unfortunate that the cherry selection was very limited, they did have the best white nectarines I've ever had! I'd highly recommend coming here for their white and yellow nectarines. They were $4/lb when I went. UPDATE: Owner, Jamie, just informed me that Mike's U Pick has 2 locations, one is a cherry farm and one is a nectarine farm. This location has a plentiful amount of cherries while the other location is nectarine dominant.

this is the place to go for cherry picking. Passed 2-3 upick cherry spots along the main roads to get here, and very pleased we stuck with this place than the other ones. Super sweet cherries, friendly staff, $4 per pound, easy to park, and very clean bathrooms and field! The cherries are super sweet, ladders placed everywhere.Spent 2 hours here frolicking around the place and taking photos with my mom, and best tip- START ON THE OUTSKIRTS when picking cherries because those were the plumpest and juiciest. But what do i know? an hour into cherry picking we swore we knew 'tf we were doing- ie how to pick with the stem, travel to the top of the tree, etc lolgreat family bonding time, and good weather, too!!

Fun experience picking cherries. Tons of trees and tons of cherries to pick! Great for adults and kids. They do allow you to bring in bags and water, however eating cherries before purchase is frowned upon. Staff was super friendly and prices were great ! Highly recommend this spot when looking to pick cherries.

Such a wonderful experience taking my family and parents there for fruit picking! we arrived early on a Sunday morning (8:30 right at opening) and there was plenty of parking. i followed them on Facebook to make sure i know the most up-to-date information on the cherry availability and they were very easy to communicate with on social media! instructions were given on each update (i.e cash only!) and items allowed (or not allowed) are clearly stated on their website.with 4 families cherry picking today we picked over 50lbs worth of cherries! ($4/lb). My family was very pleased with their Cherry picking experience (i recommended them to this place) and despite it being 1.5hrs away, it was worth it! looking forward to next year's cherries and we are hoping to cherry-hop in the future! lol

This Place is Fantastic! We had a great time picking. The entire staff was supper friendly! (Frank & Katherine just to name a few) The only downside to this trip was the cherries are not that sweet right now. We came 1 week late for the redder sweeter cherries & a bit too early for the cherries we were allowed to pick. The current cherries are small and not sweet. We picked on Monday 5/30/22They provide plastic shopping bags however I recommend bringing a bucket They have port o potties & hand washing stations. It is Cash Only

Cherry picking has always been a family tradition growing up. When I heard on the news that U-Pick was open for only a few weeks, I jumped at the chance to go. COVID-19 style cherry picking.. once in a lifetime!I chose Mike's Farm because they didn't require an appointment, no waiver to sign (I didn't have a printer), and only $3.50 per lb, which is pretty cheap in my book compared to some other farms. They have red and yellow Ranier Cherries available. We got there and parked on the dirt near the entrance. They provide plastic bags and hand sanitizer at the front. Of course, you have to wear masks at all times. There were ladders scattered all over so easy to reach those perfectly glossy, plump dark red gems.I went May 17, 2020 and they are open for two more weekends. Cherries are freaking the best! And being able to pick your own is even better. How many lbs did I pick? Let's just say I'll be having diarrhea this weekend.

Cherry picking is a great activity for summer and Mike's employs safety measures to make sure everyone's safely doing social distancing while picking cherries. They have lined marks on the ground before the entrance, have workers wearing masks and gloves, and provide bags for you to use. I went the first weekend they opened and arrived right at opening time. There were already a bunch of cars parked right near the entrance and we were able to get a spot near the entrance as well. Make sure to put on sunscreen and bring a hat as it gets really warm in Brentwood. They had a bunch of delicious rainier cherries and the deep red lupin cherries ripe for picking when I went. They have plentiful ladders around the farm for people to use. We picked 15 pounds of cherries unknowingly...at $3.50 a pound it's a great deal too. Eat lots of fresh cherries when you get home or make it into a pie or jam.

I would highly recommend Mike's U-Pick Cherry Orchard. Their yellow and red rainier cherries are crisp and tart. Their deep purple lupin cherries are sweet and flavorful. We arrived at around 10am on a Friday, and the orchard wasn't too crowded. We never had to share a tree with anyone else. There were also plenty of ladders laying around to access the cherries perched higher up in the trees. Finally, at a very reasonable $3.50/pound, you can load up on these delicious fruits without breaking the bank. Porta-potties are available onsite if you need to use the facilities. There's also plenty of free parking. Have fun!

Went during Lappin season and couldn't have imagined a better time. The cherries were at eye height for our small children but picking them up to grab from the taller branches was a joy. Extremely friendly staff and easy parking in front of the orchard. Remember to bring cash and your camera because it's a photo friendly affair!
