This was the 3rd dish I had to return due to it being dirty. Clean dishes is the bare MINIMAL a restaurant can do

Okay, 2.5 stars, but we breaking even at 3 stars and here's why.They now have a system for to-go orders, good for them. Their service improved, nice to know. Wait time, not too shabby, pretty fast even. However, if you have a problem with anything, they truly don't offer any options and leave you hanging. Anyways, today is my Ma's Birthday and it's been a while since we came here, but the food was terrible. When I mean food, I meant the sushi and everything I had that was related to tempura. I would say 1 star, but giving 3 stars for how I feel overall about their restaurant.Mikasa chicken and their cherry pork chops are solid, 8/10.Bento is decent, family opts for their teriyaki chicken all the time, 7/10.Sushi. Don't do it. Average at best, 5/10 stars.Tempura, and I mean all of their food that has tempura. No joke, negative 3 stars. Tempura in sushi was cold and when you separate the shrimp, it just soo sad. Mixed tempura, almost the same problem, except for it being slightly warmer.Not a place for sushi. Maybe for lunch.

Doordashed some foods from Mikasa tonight, and the quality have gone downhill since I last had it. Just look at the color of the avocado... roll was drenched in sauce and way too sweet. The squid was just broiled squid- cannot fail. Green beans were too greasy and bland for my liking. I cannot speak to service or ambiance as this was a takeout order.

I remember this place was the best sushi when it first opened. I haven't been here in at least 5 years and walking in tonight was a bit disappointing. There wasn't many customers which worried me right away and made me check the yelp before we ordered. The ambiance was definitely off. We ordered 2 rolls just to give it a try and it was alright... it was tasty but off, the roll we had came with baked salmon on top, usually the salmon is some what warm but it was cold.. The customer service was off..... we felt a little rushed but maybe the experienced servers hadn't arrived yet (giving them the benefit of the doubt). I did use the restroom and although it smelt like bleach and gave off a clean vibe, the urinal was absolutely disgusting and so was the door handle. I believe I was expecting a different experience due to remembering how it used to be many years ago. I will definitely give it another try one of these days and update this review accordingly. Maybe they were just having an off night and we didn't go at the right time (5:30).

The food here is high quality especially the fish they use for their sushi. The service is polite, accurate, and fast. The ambiance when I went was really chill and quiet even when there's a bunch of customers too. I ordered their sushi, which was the California roll, unagi roll, and some other roll that was a unique and specialty for only this restaurant. All of it was great and amazing, and the designs of the sushi and how they were plated was cool. I highly recommend going here for sushi if you're in the area.

Everything has definitely improved for the better. The sushi is packed with seafood (crunchy CA roll is what dreams are made of) and I love their udon soup! They seem to have enough servers so that no one is waiting long. My only problem is the temperature. During the summer, it seems like the ac is stagnant. Besides that, it's a nice consistent place.

Can you consider the quality of food you are serving? the tempura was very bland and had poor texture. I ordered the Godzilla roll and San Francisco roll, and I was peeling the skin from the shrimp and the chewiness of the seaweed wrapper out of my mouth. I could not finish my food and I did not feel satisfied. The service was fast and the ambiance feels very cluttered and closed together. I've eaten here before, so I thought I'd come and revisit my previous experience which used to be good. I never thought to look at yelp, but I think you guys need to take these reviews seriously.
