Miguel's Mexican Dining

This was my second time ordering for delivery through Grubhub. Both times I ordered the Chicken Taco, Chile Relleno, and Chicken Enchilada combo, but this time I also ordered the Flauta's. The first time the crunchy taco arrived soggy because it was in the same box as the other 2 items so this time I asked that it be in a separate box. It was, but it still arrived soggy. Everything was also slightly cold. I don't know if this was because of the restaurant or the Grubhub driver though. The food still tasted good though. The chips that came with the food tasted fresh and I liked the mild salsa that I asked for. The only thing that was a real disappointment was the rice as it was slightly stale/dry tasting.

I do like the place. I got me an order of taquittos. They were great! Unique flavor. The people working here were upbeat and friendly. I felt good about coming in when I did and the food was just wonderful. I like the guac they makewith these. JHighly recommended.

2nd time here and the foods and services are still amazing friendly and lovely small joint but great spot for foods and drinks Sundays they got posole yum yum

Door dashed my food and while it was still warmish, the food itself was awful. Idk what kind of tortilla they use for their enchiladas but it was this slimy, soggy thing that just feels gross in your mouth and the chicken or sauce was terribly salty!! The refried beans had an inch of cheese slathered on top..too much. Over all I don't think I'd ever come back. Only great thing was their horchata...if you remember VIVA burrito, it's like theirs...best EVER!

In my area, my go to. Always good food, chips and salsa. In the back a lively little bar area with a bar tender who is on it. I usually rate my Mexican Restaurants by their Chile Colorado, theirs is right there. Good neighborhood stop!

Disappointed they're now charging for their side salads for their dinner plates. It used to be included and for how much the meals are they should be included. Food is good and service usually is too, just disappointed in their salad charges lol

Well today I seem to just not be having a good day with this restaurant, at least with the ordering situation, earlier today I ordered a delivery from GrubHub and from what I could see the driver was at the restaurant getting the food and ready to leave but then I received a message saying my order was canceled because the restaurant is closed. Thats really odd because the restaurant wasn't closed so I don't know what that was about.I called the restaurant and sure enough they were opened and the person I spoke to called the GrubHub people to straighten it out for me which thankfully she did do that because I should be getting a refund for it. I chose to get a refund because at this point it had been a good half hour and I didn't want my meal to be delivered to me already an extra 30 minutes later then a delivery already is. One of my items was a crunchy taco and that taco would've been a soggy mess by then, it already tends to be almost to the soggy point when it's delivered but it's still ok for me as long as I eat it right away. Anyways I just got a refund and decided to try again in the evening for a dinner. Well maybe today just wasn't my day because again I didn't have a good situation. I usually always like the food from Miguel's but when getting a delivery there's certain things that I request so my meal will be good and also help me to feel ok with the fact that I'm basically paying sometimes twice as much as the food alone would've cost me if I picked up the food myself instead of having it delivered. 1 thing I ask for is the salad dressing to be on the side. This should be done anyways but for some reason this restaurant doesn't do that which makes that a complete waste. I would bet that more then half the customers throw out their salads. I had to today which was a disappointment because I love their salad dressing and look forward to getting mine in a separate container from my dinner and with the dressing on the side. They did put it in a separate container but they put the salad dressing in the salad even though I asked not to. The second situation is probably my fault, because I didn't specify that I wanted the taco to be separate from my enchilada and in a separate container. But I guess a part of me assumed that they would do that because when you're ordering a crunchy taco, why would you want it to be sitting next to an enchilada where it absorbs all of the sauce from the enchilada making it so soggy that when you pick it up, it falls apart. I guess I need to specify that next time. But I think maybe this was done today on accident because now that I think about it I've had my tacos in a separate container in the past and I don't think I've asked for it since I was used to them doing that already. So like I said today just must not be my day. Geese if I look at my account it shows close to $60 in charges and I am still sitting here hungry and disappointed because I threw out my salad and just looking at the soggy taco doesn't make me want to eat it. So I don't know maybe I'll stick with pizza which is what I was thinking about doing already since I have some leftover from yesterday. I'm sure I'll have a good experience in the near future that I can replace this 2 star rating with. I have faith in Miguel's food still. It's been too good in the past to not try again.

I just had the best Chili Relleno I've ever had. Wow! I used Uber Eats to deliver it, and the food arrived warm and yummy. Keep up the good work. I'll be back for more.

@Ms Maria, Owner,All you need do is call from an unidentified number yourself, and you will find out what terminal hold is.My friend really likes Miguel's, but unfortunately, I must call and order to take her what she likes. Whenever I do, I am placed on terminal hold I.e., placed on hold a rudely amount of time.

Miguel's Restaurant is our Favorite place,We've been going there since day one. Even had Birthday Parties and Anniversary Parties there. And Miguels always comes through. The food is great always. Even for our parties They give Wonderful Service and we know all the staff which are just Wonderful. The Owner always comes to you and Welcomes you and makes sure your meals are good.. The place is so memorabilia with great photos and friends... We even order large amounts of food for outside parties. And this goes so great. Again we just love this place...
