Mettler Family Vineyards

This was our first winery on our trip during spring break to Lodi wineries.A great start to our tasting adventures!Reservations are required so thankful we did as they were busy and only one gal this day, but she kept everyone happy.We toured the gardens first and they are gorgeous. We were told they were planning for a wedding shower later in the week and also host weddings and other parties, just beautiful! Anyways, we ordered a charcuterie board ahead since we arrived just before lunch and had driven a couple hours from Reno.The board was plenty for three of us with a great salami rose and various cheeses. We would have liked more salami and maybe a little more variety for $35 but I guess it's about the average. It went well with our wines.The wines were very nice and we bought a couple bottles and our tasting fees were waived which is nice so you can spend your money on the wines to go.Nice gift shop area also so purchased some gifts to go. Nice bathrooms here also. Will definitely come back next visit to Lodi!

I love this vineyard. I specifically love Nicole (spelling?) She was so awesome, nice, and very much a wine expert. She was super funny and really made our time there a blast. I also love the manager as she is very sweet and professional. The place is clean and elegant and everything you would want from a wine tasting experience. 100% would go again and will sometime soon.

We've had the opportunity to visit both for a wine tasting and for a wedding, and when the weather gets warmer and the flowers return, this is a beautiful space in Lodi. This vineyard makes for a pretty intimate time with smaller area for a ceremony; however, when you experience two friends getting married beneath the shade of redwood trees with a pond running nearby, your attention is hyper-focused on the beauty and serenity of the moment. The dance floor is similar, being a bit smaller, but when you watch a couple dance with the sunset aligning perfectly with them, it's nothing short of breathtaking.Now for the wine- their Muscat is delicious and I definitely drank way too much of it. It's sweet, has notes of lemon bundt cake, and I regret not buying several bottles. And their Cab Sauv is stronger but not too dry, and pairs super well with steak. All in all, great wine with great pours. If you're here for an event, make sure to either bring cash or ask them to take out their sign with their Venmo so you can tip them.

Exceptional spot in Lodi ! Beautiful tasting room and wonderful tasting room staff. Jessica was very informative and attentive. Yes I joined the wine club here ! The wines are awesome full of flavor and will shelf well. I have been by here a thousand times and on my first visit I'm so impressed. This is a must to try !

This is hands down my favorite spot in Lodi! Great atmosphere and even better service. The GSM is totally delicious and would recommend.

Terrible service! Are you brown? Don't come here. We were a part of Wine & Chocolate and the first lady we went to was super rude and stopped pouring us at 4:02pm. Our friends (blonde and blue eyed) were next to use and they got pours. Very rude. Don't come here.

We had an opportunity to spend some time at Mettler. The people there make you feel like family. The whole experience and I do mean experience. We had good wine of course but the savory popcorn (homemade) and the charcuterie board was delicious. We loved it so much that we joined the wine club and are looking forward to attending their events. We can't wait to go back.

We had my daughter's wedding at Mettler's this past weekend. Everything was wonderful!! The grounds and accommodations were outstanding!!! Lynette took very good care of all of our needs!! Great place and great wine!!!

My wife and I got married here in the summer of 2023. Linette was super helpful from start to finish. The staff did a fantastic job serving our guests (around 130). Our guests have told us that the wine was better than most weddings they have attended. The venue is beautiful. We used their preferred vendors for food and cake and both were amazing. This is a great place to have an outdoor wedding.
