McColloch's RV Repair, Sacramento, CA, March 13, 2024I found McColloch's RV Repair on Yelp a few months ago after I damaged the rear corner fiberglass on my motor home. I took pictures of the damage and forwarded them on to Nick at McColloch's RV Repair. He said he had seen that type of damage before and wouldn't have a problem repairing it. I also had some previous damage on the front fiberglass bumper that Nick said they could also repair and have painted. I went a head and submitted both damage claims to my insurance company and took the motor home in for repairs about the second week of January. Fortunately, I didn't need the motor home back until the middle of March, so I was fine with them keeping it for a while to make the repairs and have the damaged spots repainted. They were able to make the repairs quickly, however the paint did take a while to get completed. There is normally about a three week wait time to get painting done through the company they work with, but some kind of issue delayed the process for a few weeks.About 8 weeks after I first dropped off the motor home, the job was complete and I am very happy with the end result. The repairs look great and the paint color match is very good. Nick took care of all the insurance work and had the paperwork ready to go when I arrived for the pickup. I got the motor home back in time for an extended trip we were taking a few days later, so all was good. Nick was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. They do a lot of other types of RV repair work as well. I highly recommend them.

My motorhome's levelers would no longer auto-retract. After spending 3 days on the phone with Lippert customer support, I realized I'd done as much as I could do and it was time for someone with the right tools and experience. I chose McColloch's based on past experience with another motorhome and a broken leveling foot. McColloch's also went through several rounds of troubleshooting with Lippert and the end result was the hydraulic pump needed to be replaced.Throughout it all, the communications from Nick was fantastic. For instance, there were other parts replaced as part of the trouble-shooting process. Prior to replacing anything, Nick called or texted me to make sure I understood the parts and labor charges. He also did everything he could do to make the repair happen before the drop-dead date I provided him. I highly recommend this shop!P.S.

Poor security/Sloppy mechanicsThe last two-three times we have had our motorhome serviced at McColloch's RV repair shop it has come back with oil stains on the carpet. It has been extremely difficult to remove the stains each time. Also, the last time we had our motorhome at McColloch's, our Catalytic Converter was stolen off our Motorhome while it was on their property waiting to be serviced. McColloch's would accept NO RESPONSIBILITY for the cost of the replacement Catalytic Converter. It was on us to pay for, which was quite expensive. I feel this is extremely poor service. We own a business and carry additional liability insurance to cover any mishaps that should happen on our property. Needless to say, we will NOT be using their service again.

Very professional repair shop.I was having some AC and electrical issues, as well as a bunk bed that needed to be replaced. Nick was able to get me in within a few days when all other repair shops were quoting 2-6 weeks to even look at it. I quickly received a quote, which was extra my fair and honest. The work was done in a few days and the quality outstanding. If you are looking for a quality repair shop for your RV and are looking for someone that has integrity and professionalism, this is definitely a place to bring your RV for repairs. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back should I need their services again.

I reached out to McColloch's through Yelp messaging after damaging an awning. I was looking for a mobile tech which they don't offer but they offered advice and offered to do what they could to advise me and trouble shoot my issue even though it was unlikely I'd be able to use them. Every RV repair, dealer, manufacturer is just buried with business right now and they didn't need to offer to help but they did. Just knowing I could ask them questions to resolve my problem lowered my stress level 98%. I travel here often and will definitely use McColloch's should I need anything in this area again. This industry is notable for slow or no response. Not these guys. I'm a sales manager and my customer service people could learn something from these guys.

I felt compelled to write the review because of our phone conversation. I asked you twice about your technique in sealing the door and both times you said all we do is slap a bead of silicone and install the screws, you made it sound very easy. Upon a bit of research, I discovered the proper way to instal the door and figured I would have to do it myself if I wanted it done right. Kinda funny that an RV repair shop doesn't know as much as a 15 min google research. Also at the time of our phone call you made no mention of the back window being horribly re installed. You knew very clearly that I would not be hauling the RV to the salvage yard, and with that knowledge let me drive down the road with an extremely unsafe RV. Thank goodness nobody got hurt! Not to mention if it had rained my trailer would have flooded! Good day sir

Nick and crew repaired the entire passenger-side window on my Class-A, after it had fogged up between the glass panes. This is a very labor-intensive project and it was completed perfectly to my complete satisfaction. The yard is very secure with high fences and cameras, so I felt my rig was secure during the repair process.

Again, went to Nick at McCulloch RV when my rig was not performing well. This time it was complicated, as the whole unit wiring was failing. Solar panels not charging, batteries prematurely dead- endless frustration every time we went out for a weekend. After they went over our RV, everything works perfectly. They spent 5 hours correcting all the screwups from the previous owner and we could not be happier. These guys know everything, and everything works.Go here. Full stop.

My travel trailer was hit by someone and the molding (plus some fiberglass) was wrenched out and damaged on a front corner. Fortunately that someone was a pretty upstanding guy and covered all the costs for repairs. Enter McColloch's RV Repair - literally the only shop I could find after a hard search that would even talk to me about this job. There are relatively few RV shops that do BODY work (almost any other kind of work is easy to get done, but it is HARD to find anybody that will do body work on a trailer).I explained what I needed done and arranged to drop off the trailer. Upon arrival Nick gave it a quick look and let me know approximately how long it would take to get an estimate written up. It duly arrived and I approved the work to go forward. The repair took a bit longer than I would ideally have liked, but that was not the shop's fault. My trailer is an older model and parts/materials are harder to come by. And the wait was worth it - the trailer literally looks good as new. I'd have to point out where the damage was, as you'd never spot it yourself. I'm extremely pleased with the work and would heartily recommend McColloch's RV Repair.
