Jim at McCarty marine really helped me out with an unplanned gel coat repair. Being already boat poor, he was willing to work with me on the cost and repaired it as if nothing happened in the first place. I got quotes double and even triple his price. He seems to value great customer service over maximizing profits, which is unusual in business.Will 100% use again for gelcoat repair or replenishment

Mr McCarty is a master of his craft. I was amazed at how well he was able to repair a previously filled scratch on my boat. Another gel coat specialist had quoted me $5,000, saying that the entire side of the boat would have to be painted. Mr McCarty did the job for 1/5th cost, with a near perfect result. Jim Mccarty at Mccarty marine knows his stuff. I bought a older boat and it was oxidized pretty good all around. Jim went above and beyond on getting my boat looking good for the boating season. Jim really saved my bacon! First, he was the only place I could find that would repair the swim platform on my boat on short notice. Then, when I didn't understand that they close early on Friday and arrived after they had left to pick up my boat, Jim came in on Saturday so that I had my boat for a trip that began on Sunday!Good work Jim!!!!

jim at mccarty marine performs all of our fiberglass work here at capital marine sports for seadoos and boats. he does excellent work. he does not use filler like other fiberglass shops. his labor rate is very good and his work is excellent. highly recommend mccarty marine for all fiberglass repair.
