Gate to get your boat is always malfunctioning. Fishing trip cancelled because we were unable to gain access to the boat storage area. So disappointing when we pay $70 a month to store the boat. I guess I'll have to find a new home, I'm not going to constantly deal with a boat yard that refuses to perform upkeep and is overseen by a bunch of burnouts.

Cheap rents and cheap space? Well, I guess a lot of people find this an attractive place to dock. As others have stated, there's quite a few derelict crafts around. Actually, there seem to be more derelict boats than actual usable boats. Please note that you have to drive very slowly and carefully around the area, to avoid kicking up lots of dust. Try to not run into the old boats. We were here for a clean up the regional park day, and had a chance to inspect some of the old boats around. I think a lot of them are at their final resting place. I also tried the little cafe on the grounds. It looks old and junky, but it's actually quite good.

Is it old? oh, yea.. Is it pretty? No way. But it has covered berths for a decent price in one of the most prime fishing locations in the East Bay. The restaurant is always packed and the food is excellent. The bait store tries its best and at least normally has Shrimp in stock and the harbor runs one of the longest running Sturgeon Derby's every year that attracts tons of fishermen. True you would not want to keep your 100k boat locked up here but its Shore Acres not San Francisco. I store my boat here from October to March every year and have never had a pole stolen out of it. Sure there are tweekers and run down boats.. but that's half the appeal

Needs to be dredged. We got stuck out there for 2 hours. Didn't even make it past the no wake zone , good thing we have insurance cause when they got there there was a 10ft rope and anchor wrapped around the propeller. Take better care of your marina.

Beware of this ramp during low tide...I was backing boat off trailer on west side of ramp and got hooked up on something...When came in from fishing , I tried to retrieve boat on east side of ramp. Again the Outdrive got caught onto something again...It totally disfigured set of duel props...No warnings of obstructions but this ramp will cost me about $1,000 dollars.
