Let's start with their severe lack of customer service. If you need to call them and you will they won't answer. I don't care what day it is. You also have an option to email them. No response from there either.! Now the service. It's sucks... it will work for a week or two out of the month. Then you start the process of calling and low and behold a month goes by and then the will fix the issue for a few days and want another payment for a service that barley works... just like they do-

Was a customer for about 18 months. Speeds were not even close to what they advertised, particularly during peak usage times (like evenings when people are streaming video). Connection was being lost constantly for significant periods of time. I upgraded to the highest tier, 25Mbs for $125/month. Performance was still awful. Finally my Starlink hardware arrived, so I canceled CalDSL and with Starlink I'm seeing speeds of 125-250Mbs for $99/month, and no outages. What a huge difference!

I left CalDSL searching for a faster network speed. Got conned into using Hughsnet.net. OMG! I suffered so much BS and lies from Hughsnet.net. NEVER, ever use them! I came back to CalDSL.This company has never lied to me, they tell me the limitations, they have been very responsive to me and the little issues that had to be worked out as I got connected to their system. I highly recommend them!

Unbelievably horrible internet service. Almost as bad as their customer service. Been using Cal Dsl for the past 6 months. Im paying for their best package and I get outages ALL the time; the internet is slow to begin with. Doesnt make working from home easy at all.No one in customer service ever answers the phone. They tell you to leave a message but no one ever calls back.If theres anyway to find another service provider do it. Wed rather just tether off our phones than use Cal Dsl.

I had CAL DSL for sometime now.Cheaper and better than what's out in Acampo.Terranace the installer knows what he doing. He also installed a antenna on my 30' streetlight to take care of my neighbors. Love CALDSL.Joe Joe Lunsford

One star is too much.I'd have better luck standing on my roof holding up a satellite myself. Customer service is nonexistent. They NEVER answer their phones or return messages. They might return emails if they're feeling saucy. But then leave you hanging in the end anyways.They have a 'hotline" if your internet is down so that's cool. But you have to leave a message on that voicemail also which they a don't respond to either .I managed to get a tech out here to do pretend work last week. His uniform of choice was checkered pajama pants and hoodie and the problem didn't get resolved.When we first moved to the country and I tried to get ahold of CalDSL the first time, I called at 11am on a weekday. No answer. Tried again the next day same time, no answer.Went to their office and found a receptionist, term used very loosely. When I asked what their hours were she told me and I quote "I usually wander in about 9:45am" Quite the foreshadowing of things to come I'd say. Anywho, CalDSL really sucks. They are a bad joke. I'm having Unwired installed this week and telling CalDSL to take a hike.

... We have had Cal DSL for sometime now, after we finally got rid of the Hughes Net, which I felt was a terrible service in this area ... we live in the foothills, by Valley Springs, California.... Yes, on occasion there has been short interruptions in our Wi-Fi service, for whatever the reason, which could be weather or equipment related, but with all taken into consideration, I am very pleased and quite happy with Cal DSL, and the service that they provide. ... They have responded quickly to my phone calls, and have answered questions about my concerns, and have addressed them quickly, and I would add that their technicians are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional.... "ALL" Technology/Phone/ Internet Wi-Fi Services Etc, Etc. (and electronic devices) have issues on occasion, (it is what it is) but I am extremely happy and satisfied with Cal DSL, and their service, and I would highly recommend them.... Stephen Amestoy ...

Well I couldn't even get a week without service interruptions. Once again, 730am no internet couldn't sign on to work. Then again 12pm, lost all connection to internet in middle of my work. I can't even get a full work week done without this service being lost. It's extremely unreliable. Sadly I'm now having to order Starlink.

I like the office person sooooo much more now than the one they used to have. Big improvement! Their installer, Terrance, is and always has been amazing. He definitely knows his stuff. He gets the work done quickly and efficiently. Whenever I need a repair or anything done he is always quick to respond with a solution. Literally fraud. Every inch of promise they give you is lacking at best. Wifi cuts out for hours to days at end at random. Custom service takes days if not weeks if not months to actually care about you. You're literally paying an overpriced ISP for wifi that barely works and when it does can only handle around 6mbps which is unacceptable for anything. On top of that you're paying for 25mbps and still only getting 6mbps.
