Lewis Park is 2.5 Acres in size and is part of Cosumnes Community Service District. The park was completed in 2005 and is located in East Elk Grove. Dedicated to Mary Hull Lewis for her outstanding commitment to the development of the community of Elk Grove. The park offers local residence on open play area for multi-purpose use, shaded picnic area, play area with swings, slides, and climbing structures. Plus the park runs along side of one of the local walking trails "Black Swam Trail". The only negative things I found with this park was that there wasn't a lot of shade trees which could make it unbearable during the Summer heat ! Plus the park was next to a busy Main Street. Compared to other parks in the area, this parks rating "3 and one-half stars".?

It's a simple and straight forward park that provides a good sized grass area with some undulations, a youth play area for the kiddies and some covered tables on a first come, first served basis. It's a nice compliment to Strong park just across the street with an even larger field, a nice half court basketball setup and a youth baseball field. There are no restrooms, those are across the street, and It lacks much in the way of other charm or identity. Parking is easy enough with street parking only.
