When the weather is nice I like to go either jogging or biking around the park. As a kid I really enjoyed the playground and the park has been kept nice and clean throughout the years. For the most part I found this park a lot quieter than the larger parks I've been to. It's great for reading a book or taking a short nap.

We have been here a few times. It is down from my Sister in Law and she often has parties in this park. Today we were celebrating my Niece's graduation. There are a lot of trees so nice shady location. It does have a nice playground with a jungle gym and swings. The kids often play when we have a get together. It's always clean and most people keep the noise at a nice level. I wish they had a few more garbage cans . If you visit I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

Well, who knew there was a nice park tucked in the small neighborhood of Pocket. I nanny part time, so I did a little research while I took the kids to eat dinner at Chick Fil A. The park was less than a mile from their home, which was perfect. When we arrived, there were a bunch of kids and parents there. Most of the kids had soccer practice while the smaller ones played on the playground. I've walked the bike trail many times along the river, but never ventured away from there. I will continue to bring the kids here, there's plenty of shade and grass area to run around. No bathrooms from what I recall, but I saw a porta potty near the street.

Great park. Although definitely an older park, it's been kept up pretty well. I love the big trees here providing natural shade, and that it's pretty well tucked into an established neighborhood so if you didn't know about this park and wasn't purposefully coming to this park, you wouldn't just find lots of random people stopping by because they drove past, it just won't happen b/c it's so hidden in. I love that. So it's a hidden gem of a park. There's a quietness in this park that's so nice. It's big, it's got lots of trees as I said, some grassy areas, 2 playgrounds (one for older kids and one for littler ones), and picnic tables. This park is hardly ever busy, so it's really perfect for when you just want to go for a stroll to reinvigorate yourself with some peace and quiet, but still a great place to bring kids here to play. It's a much better alternative to the hustle and bustle of Garcia Bend Park as that one is right on the main street off Pocket Rd whereas this one is much deeper into a quiet neighborhood.

This park is located in the southern part of the Pocket area. It's surrounded by an abundance of large trees, homes, and squirrels. It has a nice walking path, large grassy field, an adult exercise area, two playground areas, and picnic tables. This park is rarely busy, so it's a great place to take the kids and relax.

Love this park. Used to take our daughter to Garcia Bend but that park is sketchy. Too many parents leave their kids on the playground and sneak off to smoke weed. This park is quiet, well maintained, and never busy. The kids are usually polite. The playground is really big. My daughter loves this park. Heck even me and daddy rode down the roller slide. LOL!!!!
