Mariscos La Roca 2

I've had this place one other time (seafood salad) and thought it was meh but today's lunch won me over and I'll explain why 1st off we got the food delivered(on time/11:30) which is awesome. Keep in mind we ordered about $200 worth of food haha (lunch order). 2nd the gal who placed out huge order asked for each order to be numbered and for extra hot sauce, ketchup, crackers, toast tadas*, idk what else but they hooked it up. I'm talking 5 boxes of crackers, entire bottle of ketchup and hotsauce just to name a few. 3rd the food taste fresh as if they harvested out of the tuolumne river (totally joking of course) 4th I paid $16 for my large order which included tax and delivery. Yes $16 is steep for lunch but I'm glad they filled that sucker up with seafood goodies! Overall the dish was good. Not bland but not super flavorful. At first I was like wtf but then thought for a base this is good because it did have flavor and if you wanted to make it better you can always add all the extra they give u, kind of like pho... Cheap prices, but quality shows. Got the cocktail with shrimp and octopus (medium for $12) and the octopus tasted old and rubbery. Broth was good, but the seafood was the reason I came so I was pretty disappointed. I like that they also give you a lot of avocados in your cocktail. Their tacos were a buck each and tasted ok. Probably wouldn't return because there are so many other places around here with better quality.

I hate writing negative reviews, but I've been going here for three years, and they have always been good; however, my last four visits, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt food hasn't been fresh and is clearly leftovers from the previous day.

5 stars because they dish out some mean ensaladas. If you like mexican cocktail de camaron then you will love the ensaladas here. They are perfect for a hot day. I like to take mine togo since it is a truck in a not so nice area.

Been coming here for years. The food is always consistent. A bit pricey but well worth it. I usually get the shrimp cocktail with extra avocados

Place is good fair and ok prices. The seafood salad is on point. Make sure you ask for more tostadas they cut you short a bit and try to give you chips instead lol

Absolutely love their tostadas and for only $2.50 each they are so worth it. They never skimp on their toppings. And you can either eat there or have it to go. Recommended to any seafood lover. I drive about 25-30 min just to eat here. They are so delicious.

This place has two establishments the restaurant down the street and the sea food truck. The ceviche at the restaurant wasn't all that great, it was a bit sloppy and definately wasn't fresh. Then again I did go at 9 o'clock at night so he probably served me the remnants of what was sitting there all day lol. Their nachos were good though. It was alright but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.

My all time favorite place... I moved and still drive 25 min to eat here. Ensalada's are the best!

My pregnancy cravings got the best of me and I got hubby to check this place out for me. He said it was very easy to find and the lady that helped him was very nice & informational. I ordered the seafood salad, which was huge and had lots of avacado. I kind of thought it was like ceviche and to my surprise, my hubby told me that the lady added some on top since I wanted that too. Lol. It also came with a 10pk bag of toastadas. This place is a must! And although I forgot to take a picture of my food, the pictures on here are exactly what I got. I know where I'll be going to get ceviche & a seafood salad from now on. And ro get that much for $11, is totally worth it.
