Mariners Pointe Apartments

I moved-out of these complex around Dec 2019 because I was moving to Sacramento. But during my time here, I absolutely loved it. I lived alone in a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment, along with my ESA/Dog. I was also happy to renewed my lease after my first year. I felt safe & comfortable living in these complexes. I felt safe walking my dog every morning and evening. The staff has always been helpful & kind since the very beginning. The front desk & repair team have been amazing! Renee at the office has been exceptional since the day I signed my lease till the day I gave my notice. And My neighbors were friendly. I honestly had no problems with the complex, it's staff and my neighbors. Parking was a tad bit difficult when having guest over, however every complex has 1 designated parking & there is available street parking if not inside the complex. I wasn't expecting my deposit back, since I did read the reviews on here prior to moving in, stating to not expect to. However, I still took care of my unit, read the agreement requirements, provided proper notice and also made sure I did my part in cleaning out the space before I left & I still got a good portion of my deposit back via mail. I believe the price was decent for a 2 bed 1 bath, I also had brand new appliances & new carpet. Pics were taken when I left the apartment. If inquired, my dog was over 25lbs, lab mix but also had a valid ESA letter.

I currently live at Mariners Point in Stockton. I am extremely happy here. It's safe and gated. The rent is great, my apartment is fantastic. A real wood burning fireplace! AND a washer and dryer hook up if you have your own appliances! I do!! This is a wonderful community in itself. Wonderful, friendly people live here and the grounds are clean and landscaped. The maintenance crew is top notch. These folks are true mechanics and they are the cream of the crop. If you have a problem with anything, it will be handled quickly and professionally. The Front Office folks are the nicest group of young ladies handling all the rentals.

I found these apartments after watching an episode of Snapped and the cops said it was a nice apartment by the ocean. I didn't mind about the murder lol but after reading these reviews and visiting the place myself, I will not and do not reccomend living here.

I was forced out of San Mateo due to the unbelievably high rents. I moved to Mariners Pointe a year ago. The apartment is wonderful. Modern appliances, nice carpet, painted walls, a real wood burning fireplace and the very best part the apartment comes with its own laundry room! I purchased my own washer and dryer....it's wonderful! The folks that work here are delightful....from the friendly, professional office staff to the Maintenance Workers! I love living here! It's the best!!

This was one of the worst apartments I ever rented from . They have roaches , the mailboxes get broken into, the office gets broken into the tenants checks or money orders get stolen. Then apt manger charged a late fee when it wasn't my fault that the office got broken into. Don't think about getting your deposit back when you move. I will nickel and dime you out of most of your deposit.. The worst customer ser ever. It's cheaper for a reason, it's ghetto as hell. Needs some major upgrades.

Maintenance knowingly left a leaking water heater in an upstairs apartment. Saturday night, starts leaking worse and flooding downstairs apartments. Worse mess and destruction than if they just fixed it when it started leaking. Damaging and flooding property... what a poor maintenance decision. They come to work on their mess, use your electricity for their tools and work.... with no competition. Didn't know we would have to help them do their job.

I lived in these apartments for 2 years I really like living in these apartments But a couple of issues I had with the management.I moved out of them in January and when I moved out I made sure that the apartment was immaculate it was spotless and the housekeeping did a walk thru with me to make sure it was to there satisfaction. When I got my deposit check back they charged me $ 268.30 and when I called to ask why I got comments such as cabinets were dirty. Ceiling Fan was dirty they had to repaint so it was lies just kept part of my deposit really disappointing!!! If this wouldn't have happened I would have given 5 stars.

The property management is foul. If you have a problem they just recommend you move in even though your property is getting damaged.. The properties infested with rats and cats. The cats will damage your property they'll scratch your vehicles if you care about them a lot of people don't that's what the management tells me but if you do it's your problem if you don't like it you can move. The rats are as big as small dogs they appear to be mixed with domestic rats. Maintenance feeds the cats the housing the entry ways to the apartments all smell like cat litter boxes.. But if you don't like it or complain you can move. That's their best recommendation for you. The girls in the office are rude . The property is constantly and frequently intruded on by the homeless encampments that are outside of the gate. They leave the gates open for him a lot of times and they welcomed them in to go through the trash. So if you're OK with constant disturbance rat infestation actually I forgot about the cockroach infestation, when you walk the sidewalks at night time you'll have to watch where you step because of all the cock roaches everywhere. But if you can tolerate all of those things then this is the place for you. The property is constantly dirty and littered with cobwebs and trash everywhere around the dumpsters overflowing onto the ground. But if you're OK with your property being disrespected and if you have a problem they won't help you out and this is the place for you. The property management here helps keep Stockton at a low level by their practices.

Street parking is illegal and unsafe at night, but you are forced to park there when you cannot find a space. People often park in red zones inside the complex when they arrive home and can't find a spot, which often blocks in other cars. If your neighbors smoke marijuana, you will smell it in your apartment. There is not much the office can do about it. We had several months where our apartment smelled strongly of marijuana most days, especially on weekends. This might just be the risk of apartment living, but wanted to mention it.

Lived here 2 yrs ago and when we left they took our whole deposit because they had to replace a few things that didn't cost nomore than $200 they give you one parking spot hella small and hella expensive for no reason. Got roaches from a next door neighbor and we had them for a month in our kitchen really bad. Went to the office and they said someone moved out next door and they'll send someone soon took a couple days for them to come I was so mad it was nasty! Never had them ever before! Wasn't happy with this place!
