I had to do all the work and send them a check. Not very reliable and very frustrating to deal with. Specially because I told them from the start that I was going to need help because this was my first time.

My Parents tasked me with what they thought was an impossible task and I was able to convince them to let me go ahead and try. Long story short, over the span of 6 months we were able to arrange a shipping container from the Oakland port to arrive in Bangkok, Thailand. All of which could not be possible without the meticulous and patient coordination of Dawn Lopez. She literally had a solution that kept us rolling over the bumps in the road and we trusted her throughout the process. Their twamWorked upOn my file simultaneously amD in 2 hours they gave meAllNeedeed documentation and filed all late documents and IPicked up my freight on Monday. Easy process easy payment.

I've been dealing with ,Mike Lopez, for a boat import. This guy is very unorganized, cant read emails or return calls. I've given him all the information that he has requested now twice and I can't get an answer from the guy if he is handling my file or not. This has been two months now!!!do not recommend working with these people, very unprofessional

As a import newbie and customer of JR's I'd say 4 starts for customs related support and 2 stars on logistics. I would not use again.

As a first time importer, I reached out to MARIS in panic when I heard I had an ISF to file and my container had already left its origin. JR walked me through the entire process in details of what I should expect. They offered competitive rates for their broker services. They answered all questions I had and helped guide me through clearing not only customs but all outstanding processes to get my container out of the terminal. I will be using their services again and so should you!

We used this company as the broker of an international house move. This is a completely unprofessional company that doesn't take responsibility for its actions.1. They promised delivery of our items on a Tues-Thursday, but the delivery never came. They then guaranteed it would be delivered on Saturday. It didn't happen. Multiple times we asked for confirmation. They provided confirmation but with no results.2. Delivery finally came on Sunday, but we had to purchase blankets, sheets, etc. to get through the night. This company didn't compensate us for any of the costs.3. They blamed the results on the third party company they chose to make the delivery. They chose the company!! They said delays happen because of third parties. What a stupid excuse.4. They blamed the results on it being busy or it being a holiday weekend. They knew about the busy season and the holiday weekend when they gave us confirmations. What a lousy excuse.5. They were slow to respond to emails and phone calls.6. They didn't update their records when we provided updated contact information. I would never use this company ever. Stay away!!! You will be cheated. They take no responsibility for their actions.
