Deli departmentI have buying dry chicken breast at the Deli department and I am asking the some questions to myself over and over. Why?The chicken is so dry that flakes when you try to cut it. The dryness will upset the stomach. I have been complaining and the ladies totally ignore. The answer is the chicken breast is naturally dry. No, it is not. It's dry if you over cook and drain all the juice of the chicken.

Best market ever. We come here all the time and the employees are super sweet. They even added a little coffee bar. Go to the deli. Everything there is good. The sub sandwiches are make to your order and WAY better than any other sandwich shop.

I like coming to this grocery store when I am in the area because it still gives me the old fashion neighborhood store feels. It is well stocked with a bakery and deli but items can be a bit on the pricier side due to it not being a giant chain store. However, it is clean, well stocked and the customer service is far better than what you get at a chain store. It's true, you get what you pay for and sometimes paying a little extra is worth the trip for me!

I wanted to try this place because I was looking for other places in Stockton to purchase cupcakes besides the Dutch bakery. These cupcakes were $3.99 a piece and they were days old!! Hard and dry. I tried peeling the outer part to see if it was soft on the inside...not! Total waste of money. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling these. I won't be coming back.

I like the store. The store itself gets full stars. My 1 star is for the guy who makes the tri tip. I'm tired of paying up to $40 for a tri tip that's still practically alive! I mean who ever heard of a medium rare tri tip?! I mean damn! It's supposed to be dead! The whole point of buying a cooked tri tip is so I don't have to cook when I get home! So it really sucks when I have to cook it more or nuke it till it's actually cooked all the way! Management.... PLEASE ... I BEG you... tell the guy to check the meat temperature or cook it longer... Every one of your tri tips I have purchased over the last year till now have been undercooked.

Great deli inside the market and great marinated food they have good portions and reasonable prices, they are family owned so the prices are a little higher than your typical grocery store but it's the nearest one to us so it's super convenient.

The food in the Deli is amazing. This local grocery store has wonderful service. It is a neighborhood market and they really take time to know their customers. I love they have the old time butcher that can get just what you need. The fresh crossiants in the morning are always a treat. You will not be disappointed in this local favorite.

The cutest place and it's a local business. The staff are excellent from the produce dept to ck out to deli dept. I've coming here on and off since the 70's. The macaroni salad thos the best. Anytime I'm in town visiting my mom I stop on my way home.

Great checkers! Fast and nice, but don't buy the meat. Bought 1 pack of ground beef, brought it home. It smelled bad so I turned it over and it was brown on the underside. Figured it was just an anomaly. Week later, went back and bought a pack of ground beef. Opened it up, smelled it and thought "no". Both the outside and backside were red. Squished it open and the middle was brown and smelly. Threw both out. I don't eat met but my boys do and I'll never get meat there again. Gross
