DO NOT MOVE HERE! Only still here because I'm stuck in a lease and they'll charge almost 3x the rent just to break it . One of the worst places to live in. Roaches, mold, break ins, people breaking mailboxes stealing mail, car break ins , constantly doing construction to the parking lot but it looks the same every single time. Gardeners will dump all their garbage over your patio. Maintenance will use your toilet and won't even flush, they spend too much time in the apt when they are alone. Even for simple things like fire alarm test they will be inside for at least 30 min . management over charges for anything they possibly can . Rene is never in office but she's the only manager that can give answers, other manager is basically just a body in the office. They removed drop box for rent, but won't be in office during normal business hours. So boom there's a late fee because they're not there. I honestly don't know who the main person in charge is but they would prob fire everyone if they seen what we all see. Also the security guards they hire are scarier than the people breaking in, all they do is smoke weed instead of watching the premises. Can't even stand up for yourself because they will consider it a threat , but their attitudes are something else. If you hate your job find a new one. This is people's homes . They refuse to put any kind of surveillance system but then will complain about the cameras we all put up .. I would LOVE to know who the owner is. So many laws they break, only decent manager was Monique and she left ( good for her )

DO NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS. It's been hell ever since we moved in April 2021 and I'm so happy my lease is almost up with this place! Nothing that needs to be taken care of on their end, never gets the attention or detail it needs. They overcharge you on your "water/trash" bill. There was a bat in my apartment and my car got broken into and mind you, they did NOTHING. It doesn't feel like a home here. They also do not have the security they claim to have. The manager and assistant manager are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Everything in this apartment is cheaply made. This place and the management are terrible and I made a huge mistake!

Where to even start. This place is a scam and for so many reasons. I lived here for two years and recently moved out. to start, the place is infested with cockroaches. Our neighbors also had issues inside units with them, and when you would walk to the laundry unit to do your laundry, the critters were crawling everywhere. Secondly, the office management was not up to par (except for Nikole who was always professional in every respect) in terms of professionalism and promptness. Our mail that didn't fit in our mail boxes would be delivered to the front office, which would be fine except they would not notify you when something was delivered. So you would have to call and check or walk over and check to see if something was delivered. 90% of the time I would walk in to see if my stuff was delivered and the office would be closed, middle of the day, mid morning, mid afternoon- you name it- these people took so many breaks and rarely were in the office to assist with getting mail boxes or any other office duties. We also had summer hours for the pool which was fine, except many times they had the pool locked for various reasons during summer pool hours. We pay a lot of rent to have access to the pool and it was not open all the time when it should have been. They also failed to complete work orders, we would have an issue for weeks without it getting fixed, some of which were never fixed by the time we moved out. They say they have on grounds security at night but it's really just one guy sitting on his phone playing games or taking a nap, so don't be alarmed if your apartment or car gets broken into.I have been waiting to write my complaints about this place until I moved out, which I did about 5 weeks ago. We had our walkthrough inspection which we were told things looked good. We hired our own cleaning crew ($200) to come in and clean and we did touch up cleaning as well. Today marks 21 days (California law states property has 21 days to return security deposit and itemized lists) since we moved out and received a letter in the mail saying they are keeping our $400 deposit, $400 pet deposit and need over $200 from us because they had to replace the entire carpet, which was new when we moved in. They said the entire carpet was spoiled with cat urine, which is false. Our cat never once urinated onto the carpet. Her litter box was in the bathroom with hard flooring, as well as a mat in front of the bathroom entrance on the carpet for anything that trailed out of the bathroom. Anyone that has been in my apartment knows it was clean and did not spell like cat urine. The inspection guy even said it looked good and didn't mention anything about a smell. I called the office and JULIE answered the phone. She kept interrupting me and explaining that the company said this and that and we have pictures to prove it, but when I ask to see the pictures, they won't let us see them. I'm humiliated, angry and frustrated because I know they are lying through their teeth to just have us pay for new carpeting so they can rent the unit for more. We saw so many times while living there that They would replace previously rented out units with nice flooring (costs more) which is what I assume they are doing on our tab. Do not rent here if you want to pay more money to them when you leave - even after being very careful and clean while living there to ensure getting our deposit back. ESPECIALLY if you have a pet. They will use it against you. Do not do not rent here. There are plenty of places down further on Feather river that are nicer properties with nicer management. Anywhere is better than here.

I lived in the March West Commons apartment complex for two years and would recommend them. Pros: The apartments are well kept and the grounds are clean. The office staff is friendly and get back to you quickly. Cons: All of my drains backed up regularly and while they responded quickly to fix them, they only put a bandaid on the problem. Three packages were stolen off of my upstairs porch and my car was hit and run in my assigned parking spot.

Overpriced. The management is forgetful about maintenance requests. They don't enforce rules so there is always dog shit everywhere and people are noisy. They will also rip you off upon move out. I wouldn't recommend renting from RPM or March West Commons now or anytime in the future.

I have lived at March West Commons for over 2 year now! It has always been a nice clean apartment complex with a staff that is always on top of keeping up the maintenance or any needs I have to my apartment! It's a great community to live in even with young children and pets! I recommend March West Commons or any other RPM company sister properties!!

I llived here for 2 years. within the first few months there was a shooting into another apartment diagonal from mine(shooter was r beside my window) and nothin was done about this but harassment from police for my ring footage. Apartments did not increase security in any way! My apartment flooded die to poor plumbing issues and a lot of my personal belongings were damage. again the apartments did nothing but dried the apartment and continued raise rent! so I decided to move out a month before my lease was up and I cleaned the apartment spotless and was still charged my whole deposit and then some and charged for the month left on top of cleaning fees painting fees and a bunch of other fees to where they kept the deposit and billed me 2,000$. I do not reco this place the rent is insane for a complex who won't change a light bulb. Also parking is horrible if you own more than one vehicle .last the neighbors above me had plants on ledge and fell and broke neither did they or the apartment complex pick up the broken ceramic flower pit it is still there to this day! thank god I had a cover for my patio because my daughters played there and it could've fell on her!

Negative 5 stars if I could. Angelina who works in the office informed me that they had a unit available when I called. I applied to the unit and told her that I live in the Bay Area but am willing to drive down to pay the holding fee. She says "it's ok" and to overnight the holding fee and application fee. I go and overnight it and they receive it by 10:30 am the next morning. She calls me and says we received your payment but someone JUST came in and paid the holding fee. UMMMM, what? I guess the conversation we had the day before didn't mean anything. She tells me if the girl gets denied they will run my application next. I ended up telling her to send the holding and application fee back and she says ok. She calls about an hour later and says the girl got denied and would I still like to move forward. I asked her how long does it take to get approved and she said "2-4 days". So I am wondering how the girl got denied so fast. Anyways, I move forward, send pay check stubs. The next day the girl tells me I am denied. I ask why and she says "unsatisfactory rental history". I asked if she called the previous place that I lived at and then she tells me no. I question her on that and then she tells me "we actually denied you b/c you have an eviction" which I don't. It is a collection (which is paid off and I spoke to her about it prior to applying) and she informed me that all is well. I asked her to email the credit check. She emailed it and as I already knew there is no eviction. I call back and she says "well we actually denied you b/c you marked "no" for litigation on your application when the collection was a litigation. I'm like wtf, It was clear that they were trying to find ways to deny my application for apparently no reason. She sent my holding fee back but of course kept the application fee. She should've just sent my money back when I asked originally. The whole process was just a waste of time. All Angelina knew how to do was stutter her ass off when you ask a question and then blame it all on her manager "Julia" and that she is still trying to get use to the "paperwork" because she (Angelina) is new. I am a pretty chill person and wasn't exactly mad that I was denied. I was bothered b/c it was clear they were denying me for no reason.I truly believe that the unit they had available was "NOT AVAILABLE ". Just by the way the situation was handled goes to show how they probably handle their tenants. I am glad I didn't get "accepted". I got approved elsewhere at a better place! I am sure everything happens for a reason. I would definitely skip out on this place. The hassle and lies are not worth it.

If you're looking forward to getting your car broken into and the management only providing security during hours that are not truly the time druggies are around, then this is the place for you! It's over price for the service of safety that they provide, unfair to the people who lives in this apartment complex. Please pass up this complex and look towards someplace safer, you'll be happy to read this, my car was broken into and I was only a visitor, my cousin stays there and told me that his car was broken into, THREE TIMES (he's moving btw)!! And the only thing they did was butter the situation up by telling him that they'll put security out there... But they only stay there from 8pm to 11:59pm and they're gone. To truly make this a much safer place, they need to be there until opening hours of the office, now that's how you solve these issues I really hope that their complex lose all tenants until that issue becomes resolved and I'm probably not the only one that feels the same!
