The coaches for the kids lessons are great. My son loves it. They're very nice and friendly.What's irritating right now is that I'm hearing 3 employees cussing like there's no tomorrow right by the outside patio seating area. Super loud. Every other word is a swear word. I get it, you're on break but you're still on the premises within earshot of your customers. It's not like I don't swear but still. Even people who are putting at the range part are looking back to see where the noise is coming from.3 stars for the coaches and owner though who have been nothing but nice.Edited to add:Jeff reached out to me via email letting me know that he had spoken with the staff mentioned. It sounds like they are separate from the golf course (eatery/cafe staff?). Thank you Jeff for taking care of the situation! Your patrons shouldn't have to hear what I experienced yesterday.

Family Fun with a great feel (check out the pics).This day I brought my Fiancée and her son for a round (18 holes) of golf. I wasn't disappointed.Parking and check in was fast and easy.This was a mid day play and we enjoyed the twilight hour on the back nine (9).Staff is always friendly and your bathrooms are always clean.Price is great (especially if you walk...Stop! Complaining we both know we need the exercise).PLEASE CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE WALKING THIS COURSE.FYI...chiropractor approvedSo! Schedule your tee time and take some pics. This course is decent and affordable, but WOW the teenagers working there are impatient assholes, who shame you for trying to unload your golf cart at your car. What course on the planet doesn't allow you to load/unload near your car? I was reprimanded by a teenager on a power trip because I didn't return my cart, when I didn't even have a chance to return it before they already hopped in and started riding off with my belongings still inside. I enjoy this course, but I certainly won't return after the experience I had with their entitled staff acting like the additional two minutes for me to unload my stuff was an inconvenience.

If you want to be SCAMMED, LIED TO, have your MONEY STOLEN from you, and be disrespected by staff this is the place. This place is a complete joke. We had purchased a "month pass" to be able to use it multiple times in the month. Basically more bang for your buck. We are trying to get multiple uses out of the pass not just break even. We purchased the pass in the middle of the month. For it be valid for 30 days. But apparently you have to be a mind reader to know that it expires at the end of each calendar month. Not the 30 days from which you purchased it (which makes sense). But the staff won't tell you that and will get mad at you for even asking questions about the monthly pass... you are just automatically supposed to know all the rules here. When you get a subscription in 2024 it's 30 days from the day you purchase the subscription. For example: Netflix, Peacock, Pandora, Apple Music, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in 2024. If they knew anything about anything. They would have a sign about monthly memberships and that they are at beginning of each calendar month and will take your full monthly payment even if there's only 10 days left in the calendar month. (But they conveniently don't tell you that and don't have a sign so they can rip off customers).The staff said that it's expired there's nothing they can do about it . they wouldn't prorate the 15 days that we lost on going to the course. We spoke with the manager (Jeff), he said it was an inconvenience for them to make it right. He wouldn't prorate the days we missed out on and said it's our fault a staff member didn't tell us it was at the beginning on each calendar month. Basically said that sucks for you. By the looks of it on yelp, this is a constant problem and Jeff and Geanna try to blame the customers instead of taking ownership at this course. Jeff and Geanna say "call them" but they WON'T do anything to make it right and will be condescending and rude. Honestly don't even know how they are business with the customer service they have. Geanna responses to people yelps reviews are laughable and take no accountability.It's the customer's fault for everything and always has an excuse. For the love of God. Save yourself time and effort and never go to this place.

Edit: The course is actually really nice for a muni, hence the 4 star. I still believe there is room for improvement in customer service and the tone of some of these responses of bad reviews. They said the would put a note about the monthly pass for total transparency - they said nobody has ever misunderstood that it only falls within a calendar month for the last 30 years. Somehow a couple people did and it took 30 years to happen, so be it. ---------------------Great course but absolutely dishonest front desk and management. The front desk has zero customer service skills and borderline seem put out when you go to check in for your tee time. I purchased multiple "monthly" golf passes, but the latest one I purchased midway through July seemed to have an issue. They said it's only good for the month I purchased it for and it expired August 1st. They admitted that the person that sold it should have notified me that it was only for the month we're in. They calculated that I've played enough golf last month so it's a wash, or they would credit the difference. They're missing the point that I get the pass to be able to play MORE golf, not just what I essentially could pay for at any course. I've spent thousands of dollars at this course and they can't even make it right. It's not stated anywhere in the clubhouse or on their website, but somehow we should just know.We sat there and argued about it for 10 mins, he called his manager but he couldn't talk to me because he was in a meeting. After all that I still paid to play, and my group got 2 carts, then the kid goes out to hole one to get $12 more dollars because we had 1 person in each cart. What a joke. Spend your money somewhere else that actually cares about the community that pours money into their facility and encourages the game of golf for everyone.Edit for response:Thanks for the response. I was supposed to get a call back today but I did not receive one. I called again and they said they would call me back Monday. I was not highly agitated or irate, nor did I have heightened emotions that caused any miscommunication. My actual constructive criticism would be to avoid relying on a teenager to give a verbal notice to someone regarding the details of the monthly pass. You should have it listed on the website, as well as the pricing sheet in the pro shop. That would fix the gap you guys currently have and help prevent any further issues. The correct way to deal with someone that you failed to provide the correct details to would be to say "Hey, we apologize for the misunderstanding and that's our fault for not clearly and concisely letting you know what the monthly pass includes when you purchased it. I see you got an adequate amount of rounds, but why don't we just cover this round since you already booked a tee time and you're here. Or maybe I can check for a small discount for next months because we appreciate your business and want you to come back and enjoy golf here at Manteca GC" Seems easy enough and saves everyone a headache. Pretty standard customer service, I'm sure you guys could have afforded to spot me a twilight weekday walking fee. Will update the review if I get a call on Monday. Thanks.
