Manteca Dog Park

Nothing but cliques and fights over dogs.... You have people that bring their tiny dog into the big dog section and then get mad if the larger dogs try's to play with them - lack of common sense...

Most of the time there's big dogs in the side where the little dogs are supposed to go and I don't want my little dogs to get hurt or accidentally killed by being trampled on like my last dog.Some of the people go there are snobs and do not care and will not leave and so I can't take my dog there. That is not fair! There the big dogs park right next to the big dog park.

Great dog park to let my dog stretch his legs. Separated into little and big dog parks. Lots of room and lots grass. Water and doodoo bags provided. Quiet neighborhood. Nice people to chat to and lots of shade for hot dogs or hot humans. Five stars from the pup.

It's nice, just wish people who had aggressive dogs wouldn't bring their dogs. This is not a place for ONLY your dog, take your dog for a walk if you want them to get exercise. Had to leave before because some guy and his big dog attacked my smaller dog and the "small dog" area had an aggressive dog so no one was allowed in. "He doesn't get along with dogs" like okay? Why did you bring him to a dog park then just to hog the entire area because you don't know how to train your dog? Insane.

This is an excellent place to bring dogs to. It's located behind the police station, near the senior center or next to the park and recreation department. It comes with normal amenities such as a people/dog water fountain, poop bags, and ample room for large and small dogs. Each park has obstacles, trees for shade, and bone shaped benches. My min pin has never had any problems with any dogs here. I sometimes let her roam in the big dog pen, if she wants to. You get to know people here and you come across them walking through town.

Took my small dog there and I like that they had two sides. There wasn't anyone there so we enjoyed both sides. There are things for the dogs to do. Seats on the inside under a tree so you can watch your furbaby play. The small side was clean but the big dog side had some places the dogs used and their owners didn't clean up.

Marshmallows first time at the dog park. Met a very nice and friendly dog name Cami. love the double playground separating the big and small dogs. Love the two gates preventing accidental runaway. I wish there were more grass than dirt. Got lots of dirt, twigs and leaves embedded in her fur. Overall positive experience.

Took my 1yr old pitbull to this dog park since we don't have the greatest dog parks in Modesto and it was nice. Everyone who goes there is very friendly

Used to be great, Lately the small dog side of the park has been taken over every morning by people with large dogs. Blows my mind when the larger side for big dogs is empty and the small dog side is full of big dogs. Can't the Parks Dept staff or even police/STARS which is right behind the dog park just stop and ask people to follow the rules. I said something and they all looked at me like I was some kind of bug.
