This park is beautiful and I loved that they have water features and turning it on for the summer ahead yay!! Can't wait to take all our friends here. There is a pond over the hill or creek? The trees are big and seem like a great place to take pictures. Small parking but I guess street parking is available. It is behind a school so probably during school days it's loud in this area.

Nice little tucked away area. There is a very nice stream with what looks like crawfish or something in the stream. Families walking with the kids and dogs. If you ever want an escape from everything, come to this park with a nice book!

I've been coming to this park for years. First, as a kid myself and now as a parent. This park is great because it has so much room to roam around. Large grass areas divided by pathways make it easy for different groups to do different things. Lots of shaded areas makes this a great park for picnics, or just hanging out too. There are no restrooms or drinking fountains here, but in a pinch you can use KI Jones' fountains when school is out and the gates are open. Otherwise, bring that H2O goodness from home. What really sets this place apart from your average park (and thus earns it a 4-star rating from yours truly) is the water cannons! How awesome is that? I'm just jealous they weren't around when I was a kid! The area surrounding the water cannons is covered with a spongy material that provides better traction and padding when wet than cement. To conserve water though, the cannons are only on from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend; so check your calender if you've got kids in swimsuits who wanna splash. My daughter loves this park and it gets PACKED after KI Jones gets out during the week. Lots and lots of kids for a good hour or two at least, my daughter loves it! If you bring your kids here they'll love it too. Don't forget to check out the creek before you leave too, if you look in the right spots you'll find craw-dads and little fishes. If you're fast enough you can even catch one of the craw-dads to have a closer look, just don't get pinched!

Nice park with playground and splash pad but no bathrooms or trash cans. So on busy days it gets dirty.

Visited this park with my daughter and 2 year old grandson last Sunday. It wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Everyone was friendly and my grandson had a blast. The water cannons were working and he just adores water so he was happy as a lark. He spent most of his time in the water. I didn't know how the water worked but someone else was there and said to press the top of the yellow pole with the black cap. It seemed to work so a word to the wise. The reason for the 4 stars was cleanliness. The park was great but there was garbage lying around, this isn't the parks fault but I am amazed at how many people can't find the garbage can at the park.
