I had ordered a family meal that was retailed at $79 it came with 3 meats 1 lbs each, 3 Lrg sides and also 6-8 pieces of bread rolls. I was shorted by one sides assuming the employee mistaken the BBQ sauce for one of the Lrg sides. Meats: Brisket, Pulled pork & chicken breast. The Brisket was dry, oh man it wasn't what I expected from a bbq restaurant I don't know how the meat was cooked but I was given small bits of meat that were dark and dry. Flavor wasn't the greatest.Pulled pork was overly spiced with the ingredients it was cooked with.Chicken breast was dry and hard The overall wait for the food was a little bit too much. I've had customers that ordered after me were able to get their food before me. This place needs to work with organizing with their first come first serve customers. Timing with cooking the meats is a MUST! This place may need to retrain their employees to cook quality food. This will be a hard pass for me and will not be coming back.

Got the brisket and ribs with sauce on the side. It was good but the brisket was on the tougher side. The ribs had a good smoke flavor to it that wasn't too overwhelming. A good 7.3/10 for bothThe sides I got was...Bake beansI'll give the beans a 8/10. Potato saladI'll give the potato salad a solid 9/10. Mac saladOriginally I wanted Mac and cheese but I ordered wrong. Wasn't too bummed because I like Mac salad too. However I'll rate their Mac salad a 3/10. Just not the way I like it. The Mac is a little to firm and "watery"Corn bread0/10 I took a bite and threw it away. Had a play-doh taste to it. Look more like a muffin than a corn bread as well.

How I never knew about this place before is a mystery! DELICIOUS!!!! My hubby and I both got the three meat plates with two sides and everything was delicious! The mild BBQ was so yummy and I ate it on all of the meats. We tried tri-tip, brisket, ham, ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Pulled pork was the BEST followed by brisket and tri-tip. Ham was the hidden gem, yum! Beans with rice taste similar to Bojangles if you are from the South. Coleslaw was good, we'd pass on the green beans next time. The service was 100% EXCELLENT they were slam busy but the woman checked on us numerous times with always a great attitude. This is not a fast food place, you are going to wait 20 minutes for your food, so order ahead or just relax and wait patiently. Believe me it is worth the wait and the portion sizes are good. We came home with a doggy bag for my son and our bellies are full! We will be back many many more times!

Corina and I ate here recently for the first time and were impressed. We had the child's plates of tri-tip and brought 1/2 the meat home for lunch the next day! She had the green bean side and I had the mac & cheese. The beans were pretty average and just a touch spicy. The mac & cheese was incredible!We would like to know how they make it so good? Our tri-tips were above average for sure, but I think what they serve at Horn's in Oakland are a little better. We will be back soon.

Probably the best BBQ I have had in Sacramento in a long time. Portion size is huge, I ordered the three way dish and could only finish half of it. It isn't just the quantity, but the quality of meats also. I had the tri tip, ribs, and brisket. The cuts were tender and had a nice smokey flavor. Only caveat is the ribs is mostly bones, so I would avoid it for next time.The 50/50 sauce has a nice kick to it. However, it isn't just "spicy" but had a nice tangy sweetness to it. Baked beans are a bit too sweet by itself, so I used it as a topping for my cornbread and it worked out. Mac N cheese was really good as it was moist and it has crispy top without being burnt.Overall, a really good place for BBQ due to quality and quantity with no compromise.

The food is well worth the money. It was very good but the hot barbecue sauce is hot and I'm a very spicy food eater. The Red Beans and Rice very tasty and the western beans are on point. The waitress Sadia was very friendly and helpful with helping me order and gave me great suggestions. Nice laid back place to get into those ribs. Quiet and relaxing place to enjoy your meal.
