M&W Marine Propeller

Great bunch of folks. Easy to work with. Got the job done fast. What more could you want!

Called M&W on a Sat evening at 530pm hoping to reach an answering machine that would allow me to set up an appointment for early next week. My evening was about to get much better. I spoke with Marie who told me I could bring my boat in and they would meet with me at 6pm. Met with Wes at 6pm and by 630pm, he had removed my damaged prop (which was not an easy task) and installed a new one. Both Marie and Wes were great to work with and I could not be more pleased. They need to clone these two because they know how to run a business. Based upon my extremely positive experience, I would highly recommend them. Thank you both for getting my family and I back in the water in such a short turn around. You two rock!!!

So I bent my prop putting in at that mud hole called discovery park. Found M&W to be most accommodating. They got my prop back to me in just couple days to save the next few weekends since the parks are finally opening up. In other words most places had 3 week turn time.I found the shop clean and updated with latest tech. Wes was very competent and efficient in the repair, even offering to reinstall. Running good as new now.This is a local, friendly mom&pop shop, with great customer service.

On Memorial Day, I hit something in the American River that created a violent vibration if I went above idle. I took the prop to a shop in Sac and left it there for a month. After 4 phone calls, the shop called me and said they didn't think my prop was salvageable. I picked it up and took it to M&W. The guy put it on his machine, measured it, and said yeah, it has some issues, but give me a week and I can fix it. 2 days later, he calls me up and says it's ready, come pick it up. The prop looked great, and I finally put it on and took it out this afternoon. It works perfect! No vibration at all! These guys had a super quick turn around and were great to deal with. This is the 4th repair shop I've dealt with over the years, and by far the best!

I'd give 6 or 7 stars if I could. With the pandemic, M and W isn't keeping "regular" hours, but, especially since I was coming from an hour away, they arranged to meet me whenever I wanted. I dropped the prop off on a Saturday morning. The prop needed welding and re-shaping. I got a call from Wes early Sunday that the prop was done. The work was flawless, truly like brand new. As for picking it up, again I was given my choice of arrival. These are wonderful people who do a great job.
