I stopped coming here because every time I stop by to buy meat I'll end up needing to buy produce and everything is stale or wilted, cucumbers are soft or cilantro is wilted. One time I grabbed an avocado and I made a face of disgust and the owner saw me, he just turned around and said nothing. Oh well, I guess I'll have to drive further for my meat now.

I have lived in Modesto/Salida for 9 years. I use to look forward to bringing customers that would drop or pickup there vehicles to get tri-tip sandwiches. After they changed to the new owner and all the old workers quit.. It just went down hill. I told myself I would never go in the market again. I was in the area and decided to give it another try. Let's just say I wanted to walk out after I seen how my sandwich was getting made! I understand there are a lot of Hispanics in the local area but when the person making the sandwich can't understand , meat, bbq sauce, cheese, jalapeños and toasted .. That's pretty bad. Not to mention they put once slice of tri-tip.. Are you serious ??? I will never go again and I suggest to everyone else to not buy sandwiches ever!

All the hispanic workers are awsome and have great service. The middle eastern workers are horrible at customer service, and their rude.

This market has Amazing fresh meat. Every family function I have it at everyone asks where I got the meat from. Especially the carne Asada ranchero. YUM!

I love getting their sandwiches call orders for pick up all the time! There sandwiches here clearly made with TLC lol. Also a great place to pick up meat for barbecue they have season and unseasoned. Also has like a typical liquor store needs Swishers jaritos

Great place for all of your fresh meat needs. The staff is really nice and doesn't mistreat you if your not fluent in Spanish. (That has happened to me in other Mexican Markets)...The Carne Asada is great for bbq's!

I went to get a sandwich and some meat to cook and the meat was old and looked like it was sitting there awhile and the sandwich was stale. They put raw meat and cooked meat in the same fridge too. There was a really bad rotten meat smell too. Definitely not going back.

I use to come here all the time for the past 20 years considering I only live a block away, but ever since there's been a new owner it's horrible I don't know his name but he's very rude and as soon as you walk inside the store the owner watches everyone's move as if your going to steal, making it uncomfortable to shop. the workers that were very pleasant to see all quit within the first year of the new owner taking over. That says a lot about a owner if he wasn't able to keep any of the previous workers happy that they'd rather quit. Anyhow I rather drive to the other side of the freeway to buy whatever it is I need than to deal with someone like him.
