Lynda lake is a horrible person. She buys horses from slaughter or auctions, gives shady medicine to the horses and makes sure they at least look decent in photos for poor unsuspecting buyers. After she makes her sale, you can't get a hold of her. Afterwards, the people who bought a horse from her are either lame and developed emotional issues. Do NOT buy horses from her! She lies to you about the breed of the horse and takes your money. She's hopping from stable to stable right now. She was at Cavallo Riding Center until she was kicked out and now is somewhere in modesto. I've personally seen how she treats horses as well as people. I saw her walking around with a needle and what looked like an insulin vile while looking at other borders horses. She likes to play musical stalls with others horses too. Be aware of this person!

Well it appears that Lynda is at it again for 2019. I read complaints that go all the way back to 2011. I. Didn't see any the last few years so if she was trying to get her shit together it was short lived. She burned meFor 2800.00. When I'm done with her she is gonna wish she never met me.

Lynda is AWESOME! I work for a road service company, who came across a person that was out of money and needed a horse trailer and truck towed off of I-5. Unfortunately there was a horse in the trailer and my towing company could not assist with the horse in the trailer. I called multiple horse boarding companies off of Yelp with no success until I got to Lynda Lake Boarding. With out a question, Lynda dropped what she was doing, hooked up her trailer and drove about 30 miles to go get this horse, and took it back to her ranch for safe keeping over night. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with Lynda if the need ever comes up. Lynda definitely has a passion for horses, ensuring that they are kept safe and calm. Thank you Lynda!

COnsumer Fraud Unit 209-953-7731 They will instruct you on how to deal with her. It's quite simple. I run into people at NEARLY every horse event we go to and when asked what is going on with her, as they all know my story, someone pops in with the EXACT same experience, or a horse that was cool and calm at her rented facility (facility is owned by a man in TX), and was dangerous and a completely different horse when she got it home. This is coming from a woman who is an outstanding horse woman and an expert at trail trials. Another woman bought a horse from her and said the same thing happened to her. Sold a dink then disappeared.

Lynda Lake is a horribly rude and deceitful person! I am looking to purchase a horse that was purchased from her just two months prior. She first mis-represented the horse to the buyer and also told the buyer that the sire was Hollywood Dunnit. I reached out to her to get some history on the horse. The first time I called she was abrupt and rude and told me to get more info before calling her. She later called me after the buyer called her out on that. I tried to ask questions about the history of the horse and she did not want to give any answers. I asked if the sire was Hollywood Dunnit because I wanted to check for genetic predispositions and she now says she doesn't know who the sire or dam is. She kept telling me what type of questions I should be asking which could have in no way been fact checked. I cannot even adequately describe in words what an unsavory person this is!

Stay as far away as you can! Bought a horse for my 72 yr old mother - was told the the horse was solid broke, quiet, and bomb proof. Kid & grandma safe - Her boyfriend would deliver the horse - we paid several hundred for the haul to SoCal. This guy shows up in the middle of the night to drop the horse off - it was absolutely freezing and the horse came out scared and cold. Within 2 days he was sick w/ pneumonia w/ a fever of 104!!! He had to go in quarantine and we spent thousand getting him healthy. Once healthy we saddled up the "bomb proof" horse - I had a young trainer hop on the horse prior to putting my 72 yr old mother on and thank God I did!!!!!! I have never seen a horse so absolutely terrified - took off bucking & jumping like no horse I had ever seen! He would have killed my mother had it been her - we have spent a few years and tens of thousands of dollars on training to help him as there was no way we were sending back to the shithole he came from. He still has many fear/trust issues and my mother was never able to ride him but at least we saved him and hopefully can find a good home for him now. Stay as far away from the broad as you can!

Excellent facilities. HUGE arena! TONS of space to ride in the back of the property!Multiple pastures that are separated by mares and geldings. Very friendly and family atmosphere. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and will do anything and everything in her power to make sure all horses on her property are well cared for, fed correctly and treated kindly.

I have been doing business with Lynda since 2011. I am a horse trainer in the Bay Area and I purchase horses for my lesson program from Lynda. When my lesson horses get sore or need a break she lays them up for me as well. They always come home from Lynda's happy, sound and ready to go back to work. Since I buy older horses for my lesson program, they can be a little creaky but they are all safe and sane. Lots of love goes into these horses and finding them the best spot. Linda's place is unique in that the horses get to live outside in a herd environment and move around at will. For those bringing a horse into a stabled environment, you might have to put some time into helping them get adjusted. Our therapeutic riding instructor has bought several horses through Linda, and at least two didn't work out. Linda continued to take horses back and trade for another until she found the right horse to work with the disabled kids. Not many a horse trader would put that much time and energy into selling just one horse for a very low price! Linda's review of herself (in the filtered reviews) says it all. Not every horse dealer is for every person. But if you need to buy a horse or sell a horse check Lynda out. She is great!
