Lumberyard Cellars

One of the best things to come to Escalon! Lumberyard Cellars is the perfect little venue for a private candle making event or a Sunday post breakfast date with a friend! I have been to Lumberyard Cellars a few times (wreathe making event, private candle making event, and for fun with a couple friends). They are wonderful to work with when booking for an event. They are always so nice and serve with a smile. My favorite thing is always the brie cheese. There are always different flavors and options, especially during the holidays, and I can't visit without ordering it. If you have the opportunity to attend an event here, I highly recommend it! Usually, your ticket will include the activity, wine tasting, and sometimes charcuterie. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Lumberyard!

My friend and I had the sangria and it was very refreshing, service was great and ambience is perfect , we sipped on our drinks indoor since it was a little cold outside. We will definitely be coming back again.

I went in to purchase a good dessert wine right before Valentine's Day and the gentleman working let me try 4 different wines free of charge. I purchased two whites, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc along with a red blend. I plan on going back to actually do a wine tasting and have their charcuterie board that looks yummy! Oh and place inside is really cute and they have an outdoor patio with fire pits so yes....will definitely refund to enjoy the whole experience.

Lumberyards Cellars was the perfect place for my daughters bridal shower. Megan was so helpful coordinating with my niece and sister for the event. The place was beautiful, food was great and the wine and sangria were delicious!Highly recommend this place for a small event or just sitting down some afternoon for a nice glass of wine. I will be back.

This is a hidden gem! My cousin lives in Oakdale and has been here before so she suggested we go. They have a cute little backyard area with lights, heat lamps and umbrellas. It's also dog friendly, a lady had her doggy and was able to fill up his water bowl. They have a nice selection of wines to try and order, I asked the gentleman a couple questions about some wines and he was helpful and knowledgeable. They also had some food that looked tasty but I was unable to have at this visit. I'd love to come back!

GREAT little spot! I love supporting local businesses and nothing is more local than an old friend from high school! They have a great selection of wines, the tastiest sangria, amazing service, and offer a variety of events! The cherry on top; right after I had my son, I was craving their sangria and we were going to sit out on the patio with our kids so I could get a glass... of course the patio was full, and no one wants to be stuck inside with a noisy three year old, so we turned around to go. Megan came out to our car and said hello, she knew that I came for the sangria and she sent me home with a bottle of it, no charge! So sweet it made me cry (my hormones may have been out of whack, but still!)!

Fun place for wine tasting! $10 for tasting flight of five wines. I didn't care for the rose, but the other were quite good. The servers were happy and helpful.

Just attended a gathering/informative class and it was amazing. Wine tasting and ambience was so nice. The wine is delicious and the people are wonderful

while the venue is aesthetically pleasing, if you hold an event here, DO NOT add the sparkling wine to your offerings. They will bring in Wycliff Sparkling Wine (retails for $7.99) and mark it up 3x's the cost so they can charge you $25.00 per bottle. If you buy a case of their wine it's about $220 (which retails higher than the CHEAP bubbly they serve you). $300 a case for what should have been less than $100. (and we know the paid even less)If this winery doesn't carry sparkling wine.. DONT OFFER IT AS AN OPTION WITHOUT BEING CLEAR! Unbelievable! Shame on you!
