No bathroom for customers. Fruits are limited selections and not in good condition. We wanted to purchase local grown good fruits unfortunately not much to choose from.

A pretty nice fruit and vegetable stand just outside Stockton city limits, to the east. At the top of the season for local fruits and vegetables, this is a good choice. They have limited quantities of some unusual gourmet items. I found some heirloom squash that we brought home to bbq. Even sweet white corn, 5 for a dollar, so fresh the silk hadn't turned brown. And my general observation was, their stuff was offered at better prices than down the road at the Fruit Bowl, their competitor. They even carry fresh made pies that looked quite tempting. Since we did not indulge, I can only report.

Look, I can't get up early enough to make it to a farmer's market. I know that makes me sound lazy, especially to any of you "morning people" readers, but I'm OK with it. This place accommodates late sleepers like me. They're open all day, probably til dusk, but I really didn't check, and they are stocked with local (mostly from their farm, I guess) produce. The produce is awesome - so fresh! The tomatoes we got today were red all the way through - not like those sad ones you'd get at a chain grocery store. We got a whole mess of fruits and veggies -- 4 bags worth -- for under $20!They also sell some dried fruits, nuts, specialty sauces and jams, and even Apple Hill pies, which is crazy to me since Apple Hill is kinda far from Stockton. They also take credit cards and have plastic bags, which is convenient. If you dig fresh produce and don't want to be an early rising, farmer's market groupie, come to Louie's. It's worth the drive.

Stopped by here on the way to a family get together and found lots of different melons, many peach varieties, and a lot of other produce. It was all very good quality. My favorite was the dehydrated veggie chips, it was a healthy alternative to chips and salsa and I LOVED it! Aside from fresh produce they have olive oils, balsamic vinegars and other fancy produce items. If you're passing by definitely stop, they have a lot more than it seems from the street.

I always stop here to grab fruits and veggies on my way home. Produce is from local farms and are fresh and tasty. Their sweet corn is sooooooo good, we get some every time we have a BBQ. Staff is always friendly. So glad we have a local market like this in our neighborhood.

I hear they've recently sold but I don't see any change which is a good thing. Always have a nice staff and plenty of locally grown produce.

I purchased some of their corn nuts which were very stale. Noticed that their food does not have any expiration tags on them so who know how old this product is. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here.

Louie's is a destination. People with Italian heritage will appreciate the heirloom Italian beans in the summer and beautiful tomatos and fruit. I brought friends from LA and they loved it. I especially like the Italian music that is playing constantly! The place has personality, thanks to Louie!
