Lotus Thai & Khmer Cuisines

All around, solid hole in the wall to get your Khmer and Lao food fix! I got the dry Phnom Phen noodles and it wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good enough! The best I've had is in Long Beach! Papaya salad was Lao style but the sauce wasn't dark enough for me. I wish the they had pounded that papaya just a bit more Regardless, I would definitely come back and recommend!This place is essentially Lao and Khmer food. The sign says Thai but the food can be described as Northern Thai aka Isan which is essentially Laos if you know Thai history. Thailand took the Northern part of Laos way back when. That's why Isan sausage is basically Lao sausage ‍

Love the Phad Thai and fresh vegetables they give on the side. Quick and ready pick up.

Update some of my current favorites. Still authentic and delicious as always. Can't just order 1 dish when we come here lol

This is the only Cambodian restaurant I will recommend to dine in Stockton. Many have come before this place but it's always a hit and miss but Lotus is a hit. Yes, they serve simple Cambodian, Thai, and Lao dishes but each comes out with perfection.I normally go in for the "Phnom Penh Noodle Soup" The broth is what Cambodian Noodle soup is suppose to taste like! They don't put buckets of MSG in their broth like "other" Cambodian restaurants in the area. Many times, this Cambodian dish is overshadowed by Vietnamese Pho, but this place gives Pho a run for its money! The server, Alina, and the owner, Muy, are childhood friends of mines. They are always welcoming and the service is impeccable. The dining room is always clean and the decor fits the theme. I highly recommend Lotus to everyone!

Lotus is one of the few authentic Khmer restaurants in Stockton that is under appreciated. Their combination fried rice is one of the best and their service is amazing.

Good service and food are delicious. Inside is beautiful nice and clean including the restroom. One of my favorite Khmer go to restaurant.

The food was good. The area is a small hole in the wall. It's nicely decorated. We went as soon as they opened service was fast and piping hot food. The egg rolls were my favorite. I had the lad na it was flavorful. My friend loved the boat noddles. My other friend enjoyed the pad Thai. Great place to try.

By far the best Thai food in Stockton. The location isn't that great but the inside it nice, and you can order to-go. A bit pricey but you get a good amount of food.When I tell you I don't like pad thai, but I like this pad thai! I get their chicken pad thai and it's really good. I also get their laap beef and it's so nice and fresh tasting. Their xo sauce fried rice is also very good.Highly recommend!

Food was good. If youre looking for street food sit down style with friends and or fam. It was just awkward because I showed up and they kinda ignored me while waiting on tables for a bit. I wasn't sure if I sat myself down or ordered and paid first.

First time eating here and I already know this will become one of my normal dining spots! Ordered the Phnom Penh Noodle Soup and the Pad Thai noodles to-go. Delicious! I had to make myself stop eating. I just couldn't get enough!The Phnom Penh soup is similar to a Pho but has a lighter flavored broth. Plenty of noodles, meats, and veggies were included. It will last me for a couple of meals.The Pad Thai noodles were the best I've had in Stockton. They were not overly sweet and the chef did not hold back on adding the proteins and veggies. Loved it! Can't wait to try other items on the menu! Highly recommend!
