Long Shadow farm

This is the best u-pick farm compared to four others we have visited. Why?- The best tasting cherries we've ever had, hands down. - The cheapest we've had ($4/lb in 2023).- Super easy for the kids to pick (low hanging and in huge bunches).- Very friendly staff.- Tons of parking.- It's one of the first (if not the first) u-pick farms you'll pass driving from the Bay Area.I'm shocked there aren't more folks coming here. It's probably because they do less marketing and they are a bit hard to spot. You turn into a driveway type of road while most other farms have their parking lot right on the main street. You should definitely consider Long Shadow Farm instead of the more popular places.

Long shadow farm is such a great place! I picked cherries with my family there last year and am getting ready for the next cherry season coming soon! My 2 year old had so much fun racing down the rows and picking as many cherries as he could (eating some too!). The farm is just beautiful and very well maintained. You will find tons of insta worthy photo ops here! The cherries were bountiful, sweet and huge! This is a family run operation. They were so sweet and happy to answer questions about the farm and cherries. I can't wait to go back!

I picked cherries here with my family last year, and we had a fantastic time. There's plenty of parking, friendly people, and rows and rows of delicious cherries. We are excited to return this season!

Beautiful farm, run by a very friendly couple. Great place for cherry picking! Our kids had so much fun there. I'll be sure to go back.

This u-pick farm is a hidden gem. It's in Byron, near Brentwood. It's away from the crowds. The cherry tree rows provided plenty of shade the day we went. All tree were loaded. I don't know if they had other varieties. But Lapin cherry was the only one offered on 6/11/2023. Too bad most cherries were not fully ripened. Well, I guess that can extend the season till later. We were lucky to find one tree loaded with ripened sweet cherries. The farm appeared to be a small family run farm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended for the convenience and friendliness.
