Loncheria Chapala No. 3

5/9/19 - I made a quick stop here, running way too many errands, but I needed something in my stomach. I ordered a steak burrito with everything! My son had got me a burrito from here a long time ago, and I enjoyed it because the meat was seasoned. This one was still seasoned, but my first bite was into a piece of fat, which I didn't enjoy! I hate that crunchy, chewy feel and sound. However, that was my only displeasure. I don't know ‍ if I will go back, and he is not there all the time anyway. I did feel sorry for him because he was working by himself and lunch time was approaching.My burrito was $6.00, not bad for lunch.

Still my favorite taco spot for al pastor (super nice touch of giving a pineapple slice on top) and tripas. Super sad they were out of tripas and barbacoa last night, though will definitely hit this place up again before I go back to Boston.

Gets pretty busy during dinner hours!Their asada super burrito ($5) always hits the spot! Huge and juicy down to the last bite. The leftover tastes even better the day after, because the rice and beans soak up all the juice of the meat and the tortilla becomes more fluffy or soggy in a good way I shall say. I just love their super burrito! It's simple--meat, rice, beans, sour cream and pico de gallo. Pick your sauce in the burrito: hot or mild. You don't want beans or rice? Yikes, be very careful...it'll be a salty burrito! They also charge you extra for meat-only burrito. I ordered a regular asada burrito with no beans and rice last time and they charged it as a super burrito, which is fine considering meat is getting expensive. Next time, I will keep the beans and rice in my regular asada burrito ($4). The meat was a little too salty by itself and pico de gallo. With any order, you get a bag of sliced red radish, a wedge of lime, and a pickled jalapeño...the usual. Besides El Grullito, Loncheria Chapala is my go-to spot for tacos and burritos in North Stockton. I have just recently tried the burrito from the truck next to P2000 again and I still can't like it, because the meat in the burrito is so dry. For good meat, stick to the trucks on either side of Wal Mart. Just be cautious waiting outside...It is Stockton after all. If any of you are fortunate like me to have access to La Vic's orange sauce, you gotta add it to these burritos and tacos. Their burritos are tasty enough, but why not escalate it to another heavenly level? I admit that I stay outside for awhile after ordering to smell the wonderful aroma of meat sizzling on the hot griddle. Don't worry, I got my self-defense skills and pepper spray. This truck is in the better area of town anyways. And of course, it is CASH ONLY.

Delicious! We were driving by and couldn't find anywhere to eat. Saw the food truck parked and we decided to stop by and grab a bite. Got some asada tacos for $2 each and some drinks. Very filling and good flavors. Thank you!

After first coming to this taco truck, Loncheria Chapala No. 3 has been a regular destination for me and my housemates. Shocked that there wasnt a line, i usually wait at least 15-20 min just to order. Yummy al pastor burrito, no beans. Soooooo good. Gotta get tripas (crispy tripas) tacos next time!

The BEST taco truck EVER EVER. It's no wonder there's always tons of cars parked along this street..and the lines are fairly long. BUT, it moves quick! This taco truck is located next to the Nissan dealership. Luckily, the street is big and wide! Get the carne asada tacos. & burritos! Yum, seriously almost had a heart attack after eating all that grease.

Ive never had a more sad burrito. Poorly wrapped and all meat inside . the asada was great but i mean wheres the beans/rice?

This is my favorite taco truck in Stockton! I've been to around at least 10+ other taco trucks here in town, and chapala outperforms all the others in my opinion. Their prices are much better than most other trucks like Don Rafa's and Mayita, while the quality and taste of their burritos stand as top notch as well! What I found important to note is that the restaurant across the street does not taste as good as the truck itself for some reason. Anyways, 5/5 would highly recommend!

Some of the best tacos I've ever had!! Barbacoa special was AMAZING,sad I only got 2. It's comes with broth that is to die for. Also tried the asada and pastor and damn was it seasoned well. Some of the most flavorful meat I've had. Didn't pay too much attention to the salsas cause the meat was that good! Came with grilled jalapeños, onions, radishes the works. Never have I wanted to instantly come back and order more. This will definitely be my go to spot!!
