The shop has decent inventory. However the owner is difficult to do business with. I found it very hard to buy from her. I wish she was more of a straight shooter.

Absolutely wonderful experience as a first time visitor to Lodi Coin and Gold. Dolores is extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful, and a great resource if you are a beginning or veteran coin collector! I have been to quite a few coin shops around the area, and her prices were the lowest I have found. You typically get great service OR great prices - rarely both. Lodi Coin gives you the best of both worlds, so check it out, as this place is a definite gem!

I need to appraise and sell some gold chain that was just gandering dust. The person that attended me was very professional and gave me advice on some items I had. Got a reasonable price for my gold chain. Just a bit hard to park your car as is very tight space

I can't believe how lucky I was to find a precious metals store with a beautiful and amazing woman, Dolores, running it. I'm very new to stacking and wanted to buy my nephew some silver and was hoping to find a place that would not just sell us stuff, but where we could learn about precious metals and wouldn't be made to feel like just another random buyer and I absolutely found that here! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and treated so kindly. Dolores patiently spent 2 hours today teaching us the difference between fiat currency and real money, why people buy certain things, showed him many different types of silver, ways to collect and all kinds of other fun stuff that he really enjoyed. What I think made my nephew more comfortable was that her kids were in the shop as well and I think it put him more at ease. He's so excited about silver now and I really have her to thank because she was awesome with him and I learned a lot from her, too! She's so knowledgeable and sweet, I felt like I've known her for years but I just met her. Also, her prices are extremely fair, I didn't even have to try and make any kind of deal or haggle price because I was so surprised it was at such a low premium compared to the pawn shop and JM Bullion. She even beat JM Bullion! I'm so happy I found this little shop and I'm excited to continue going back for years to come!

I want to just say thank you to Dolores. She gave excellent customer service. I was going in there to feel out the whole coin shop experience and I it was nice to get good service that makes you feel comfortable. Go and check them out.

LOOK UP PRECIOUS METAL VALUE BEFORE ACCEPTING ANY OFFER SHE GIVES YOU!!!I was ripped off a year the first time I bought a coin from her. She knew I thought I was buying a different more valuable coin because of my excitement, proceeded to play along and make me feel like I was getting a good deal. Thanks for allowing me to pay $130 for an ungraded coin that you said was Mint State. But graded "extra fine" and was worth $23. Also you wanted me to trust you cause your certified in grading? Astonishing. So recently I went back because i needed some extra cash for bills. I brought in some silver. To say she ripped ms Me off would be an understatement. As she's checking out my stuff and doing calculations, she's also chit chatting me to kind of distract me.. we'll it worked because she interrupts me while I'm speaking mid conversation and tells me her price she'd pay is $106. I thought was on the low side for silver, But I needed the money, so I said okay got the money and left. For the melt value of silver I brought was $274. But the true value in what I had was well over $400. It's absolutely disgusting to do business this way. Flat out taken advantage of. PLEASE LOOK UP THE SPOT PRICE of precious metals before you agree to her LOW BALL offer.

I've been interested in getting into metals and finally decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did! The woman I met (Dolores?) was incredibly helpful and patient with me. I did a little bit of homework before going in and felt she was steering me in the right direction. The store itself was clean and well maintained. Customers and staff were respectful, wore masks, and waited their turns within a safe distance.I'll definitely be going back.
