This review is long overdue, but Lindsay and Kayla (who was my lead planner) did such a fantastic job bringing my wedding dreams to life! Kayla was so organized and took on the stress of planning, especially during the pandemic shut-down. We started planning back in 2019 and were about to decide on final details when COVID hit. She contacted other vendors about the new date and coordinated all the details before, during, and after my wedding. This team is simply amazing!

I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and her team (Kayla was leading this particular event) at my recent couple's wedding at The Club at Ruby Hill and they did such a fantastic job! As a wedding vendor, its always so helpful to have a planner on board who is so organized, communicative, and kind. Kayla was a breeze to work with before, during, and after the event. She even made sure the reception space was staged for me prior to prepping for dinner service so that I could capture some amazingly beautiful shots for the couple. The wedding itself came together perfectly! Everything went off with out a hitch and the wedding was a blast for the guests as well as myself. I highly recommend this team to anyone getting married and hope to work this these ladies again in the future!

Lindsay was an excellent coordinator! From the outset, she was responsive, supportive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic. She also had the utmost professionalism throughout our wedding planning process--she promptly responded to any emails or calls, and she was in regular contact with us in the months leading up to the wedding. We were planning our California wedding from the East Coast, and Lindsay readily accommodated our schedules, including making time for a walk-through of the venue during the single weekend we were in the Bay Area before the wedding. Whenever we needed recommendations, Lindsay offered several, including an amazing hair and makeup team and a wonderful calligrapher. She also offered great decor tips and ideas, and kept us organized throughout the planning process. During the wedding, Lindsay was kind, very calm, and super organized. She and her assistant worked closely with our caterer and florist to create a beautiful ceremony and reception space, and she was in close contact with our DJ and photographer to make sure the night ran smoothly (and it absolutely did!). Thanks to Lindsay's excellent work, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of our beautiful wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lindsay to other couples!

My husband and I found Lindsay through a recommendation by my high school teacher (who also happens to be the owner of Mattevideo). Initially, we went to her website, loved what we saw, so we decided to reach out. She responded in a timely manner, and within a day of our initial email, we were able to speak to her over the phone.She was so easy to talk to, immediately we felt that she was the right pick for us. She is very communicative, responsive, and has a warm personality. We met with her approximately 5-6 times during our wedding planning process, and she was extremely patient with us from beginning to end. Even during the months leading up to our wedding, when the stress really kicked in, she was always sweet and willing to help. She definitely provided a lot of guidance to us and we trusted her expertise and vision for everything. Up to this day we still receive compliments about how well put together our wedding was. We had a dream team of vendors, and Lindsay was definitely one of them. Thank you LLE!

Lindsay is a dream to work with! I found her on Yelp by searching for "East Bay Wedding Planners" since we knew at that time that we wanted to have our wedding event be location in the San Ramon/Livermore area (to accommodate friends and family from SF, SJ, and East Bay itself. After further "research" of Lindsay Lauren Events (LLE), we fell in love with everything Lindsay herself stood for, represented- and to top it off, her creativity exuded in abundance! We met Lindsay three times: a preliminary meeting prior to our hiring, once at the venue, and a final meeting about a month prior to the wedding date. She was so very resourceful, punctual, receptive to communications, KIND, and most importantly- she was supportive in what we wanted for our special day. We hired LLE sixteen months before our wedding, and while the beginning of our planning time started slow, time suddenly crept up on all of us and the countdown turned into 6 months... 3 months... 1 month to go... and BAM. Within those 16 months I e-mailed Lindsay as late (or early for some folks) at 4:00 am, because with our four kids, this was the only time I could really focus on our wedding. I always joke with Lindsay that I'm sure she misses my early notifications, and she says she agrees. lol! There were three separate times in which I asked Lindsay for her help with my two of my other vendors. The issue was a lack of communication/miscommunication. I could write all these e-mails, make so many telephone calls, but when Lindsay had to get involved, it only took her one e-mail to make things right. Things could've been A LOT worse had she not stepped in to make sure everything ran smooth.Lindsay and her assistant were instrumental for our wedding day. It's almost as if Lindsay has done this before! :) She is a true professional. She is highly regarded in the local wedding arena, and it's obvious as to why! LLE is worth every single penny. Can you imagine setting up your own decorations? You don't want your family, friends, or bridal party to do it. You want them to enjoy the day, just as you are. We hired Lindsay to do our day of coordination for our wedding in San Francisco. Not being in the city that we were having our wedding at began to overwhelm me and that's when I turned to Lindsay. She answered all my calls, texts, emails etc with professionalism and punctuality. She pulled everything off and more with amazing results. Her organization and attention to detail created the perfect day for my husband and I. Her connections and recommendations of vendors were spot on. Thank you for everything Lindsay!

I knew the moment I first spoke with Lindsay, that I wanted her to be our wedding planner. After our very first conversation it was immediately apparent that she understood my vision, I could rely on her to take the reigns and make sure all details were taken care of. We clicked right away -- which I knew was important, since this person will be by your side the entire step of planning! She listened to my likes and dislikes, she made sure to ask questions I didn't even think to ask, she gave input when I didn't know how to explain my vision to vendors. She was my sounding board the entire way, which this over analytical, overthinking bride very much needed! She came with us to our vendor and venue meetings, understanding our overall ideas, inspiration, and look -- seeing it through from beginning to end. We really wanted a rustic, romantic vibe and style for our event, and that is EXACTLY what Lindsay helped execute for us!When you are a first time bride you don't realize that everyone reaches out and asks a million questions the 2 weeks prior to the wedding, when stress is at an all time high and budgets are most of the time completely out of funds Lindsay made sure to respond to all last minute inquiries from things like what to do with extra linens to which color cake stand to borrow from the bakery, so that I wouldn't have to worry about it! She also created the most detailed timeline, which made everybody's prep (vendors and bridal party/family) and wedding day schedule go so smoothly. I literally don't know how I would have been able to pull off what guests called "the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to", without Lindsay by my side. I can't put into words how much she helped relieve our stress and exceeded our expectations of what our dream wedding could be! I can't wait to recommend her to anyone and everyone I know that needs an event planner.

My husband and I hired Lindsay Lauren Events for their "month of" package for our August 1st wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made during our planning. We had previously met with a couple of wedding planners but really wanted someone that we connected with and who seemed like they could handle our unruly friends and family. Lindsay and Kaelyn were a perfect fit!Lindsay and Kaelyn were super responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the planning process. They were quick to answer texts, emails, and we even connected with them on FaceTime/Skype a few times when a group meeting was the best fit. They were tech savvy and were able to help us manage all of our vendor details in google docs which was a huge time/stress saver. Our first in-person meeting was on our site visit and the enthusiasm that they showed about our ideas and the space itself really conveyed their expertise and passion for what they do.Lindsay and Kaelyn organized our rehearsal walk-through and made everyone feel very prepared about where to go at what time. As a result, the day of went very smoothly. They helped us keep on schedule, they went above and beyond with helping us set up decorations, they wrangled our sassy/tipsy families with grace, and all of my guests and vendors had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I was totally at ease on my wedding day knowing that they were on the job! Lindsay and Kaelyn are not only a super efficient team, but they are kind and very enjoyable to work with. My husband and I really looked forward to meeting with them throughout the planning process and we would not hesitate to grab a drink with them as friends now. Thanks, LLE!

I have used Lindsay Lauren Events for two wedding...and I have all boys! My boys are military officers and their wonderful wives were not from this area! They both decided to get married in California! Lindsay's amazing organizational skills, personality, efficiency, and design talent make her the prefect individual to make all wedding tasks seem so less complicated! She has so many great reaources for finding the right venues, vendors and design ideas!!! On both wedding days, she made that event so much more enjoyable for me because I did not deal with any issues!!! She is exactly what you hope a for when you hire a wedding planner-Professional, efficient, artistic and just a great person.

We could not have pulled off our complicated wedding without Lindsay and her team! We hired Lindsay Lauren Events for the full-service wedding planning option. We began meeting with Lindsay when we decided to host our 150-person wedding ceremony and reception in my parent's backyard. Throwing a backyard wedding is a lot of work. It requires that you bring in all materials, supplies, decorations, florals, food, drinks, EVERYTHING. Lindsay's professionalism, flexibility and positive attitude made the process much easier. Lindsay is a wealth of information, both about wedding vendors and also about wedding etiquette/traditions. She met with us multiple times to see the site and help design the look and feel of the day, as well as the flow of activities. She was very collaborative and creative. She let us bring in our own ideas and offered many unique ideas as well. She always gave us good advice--pros and cons for every option--but ultimately let us make the decision. She was never pushy or controlling. She suggested specific vendors that she had successfully worked with but was fully accepting if you brought your own vendor or requested that she find someone less expensive. She answered all questions promptly and candidly. She was incredibly organized--providing checklists and templates to help us plan. She also coordinated all the vendor relationships, making sure everyone was paid on time and that everyone arrived on time the day of. She created and revised a detailed timeline of the day-of preparation, ceremony and reception. Because of her, I slept easy and woke stress-free the week of my wedding. She made me feel completely at ease that everything would go well. The day of the wedding, Lindsay made sure everything went off without a hitch. She brought extra staff on her team to make sure that things went well. She coordinated with all the vendors and saw to every detail. I didn't have to see to a thing. We had many complicated transitions from different locations in the backyard for the ceremony, cocktails and reception. She kept everyone moving on time and made sure every detail I asked for was taken care of. Everything was just as we discussed. One thing to consider when planning a wedding is whether you will enjoy working with the wedding planner. Yes, Lindsay is an expert. She has experience and contacts in the industry. She is organized and prepared. But more than all of that, she is flexible, positive and compassionate. She is always calm, cool and collected--she doesn't get flustered. She is a joy to work with. I always felt like I could call or email her with questions, and she always promptly responded. She truly cares about making your day special and true to you. She will go the extra mile. She even cleaned up my parent's kitchen after the wedding!
