Tweakers, roaches, and bed bugs. Management is absolute garbage. Front office clerk. All I can say is if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Office is a dump. The owner should replace the staff with a fury. It's so disgusting how it's managed. If I were the owner, I'd be embarrassed of how this staff treats my locations. The fact that even operation care uses this dump for dv victims raises questions to how much they care. Broken door locks, door jam's from what looks to of been kicked in doors. If you have ever seen the movie the Ring. The bathrooms remind me of every scene from that movie. The fact they have the nerve to charge nearly the same rates as far better motels in the area. Check out those other hotels. Don't walk, RUN to those other motels. Your money is better spent, nicer staff, cleaner units. Really. Just don't even bother with this place. I honestly think the garbage in the dumpster next to the office could run this place better.

This place worked out well for my family, as they allow dogs, for a fee of $15 each per night. There were two double beds in my room, with a semi private twin bed in the back. This was also a big plus. My complaints: the room, with the dog fee, was $140. The room smelled musty and old. The bathroom was tiny, as was the shower. The sheets were all stained, and the blankets / bed coverings were not clean. The towels were thin and rough. The room had thick brown shag carpeting. The wifi was so spotty as to render it useless. No, I wouldn't stay here again. Not for those prices anyway. Its a cute place, and the staff is friendly. The owners are new, and there is no coffee or muffins as advertised.

To give a little backstory on my situation, I organize a local annual event with up to 100 participants and this year was our 36th year. Every year, months in advance, I call the Linda Vista and make reservations for myself and several other people who help organize the event. The Lnda Vista has always been great because they're close in proximity to the event site, have reasonably priced rooms, and a great location to barbecue. This year, like all of the others, I called 3 months in advance to book my room. It took nearly a week to get a hold of someone. I left voicemails and even contacted another local hotel to see if the Linda Vista was still in business (they've always been so great, we didn't want to switch locations). About a week after I originally called, I finally was able to speak with someone. As usual, I requested to make my reservation in advance. The gentleman I spoke with was happy to accommodate us and even assured me that their BBQ gas grill was available for use. Here's where things got interesting... He did not want to take any kind of payment for the room. No deposit, no credit card to hold, just my word. I went back and forth for a bit with him, but he assured me they were happy to have our group, especially since we'd be bringing them so much business.Well, three months or so go by and it's the weekend of the event. I head in to the office on Friday to check in. The office already has a couple of customers waiting, one of which is being told there are no rooms available. I get to the counter and let them know that I have a reservation. I am greeted with a blank stare and told that they don't have anyone with a reservation. He checks anyway and again, I'm told there are no room and that I have no reservation. The man then walks away from the counter without saying a word and leaves me standing there.Several other of my supporting staff had issues as well. Some charged for a night even though they weren't given a room, some told that there wasn't a room only to find out another person behind them was able to get one.It also seems that there are several long-term "residents" staying here now, one of which has 10 small dogs living in the room with him.I would just say to use extreme caution when booking a room at this location. When I have been able to obtain a room in the past, the rooms are not updated and smell of smoke (yes, even the "non-smoking" ones). If you do decide to book a room, make sure to check your bank statements (several people also had issues with overcharging too).If you need another option, I went across the street to El Campo Casa Motel, and they were quite pleasant.

We had a reservation here but after seeing the mess of the front desk asked to see our room. Even though it was non smoking room it reeked of dirty ashtrays. The carpeting looked very old and unclean as did the bedding. The owner said we would never find another room on this busy weekend but we had no problem finding a nice clean room at the Amador Best Western just a little bit down the road for only $10 more.

We had open reservation at Linda's. We went to check out a no smoking room. The room smelled of smoke and owner insisted it was a no smoking room. The room did not look clean.

It breaks my heart to be the first review and to give it a deuce. Yes, it was the cheapest place I could find when I elected to stay over the weekend to play catch-up at my pharmacy internship at Sutter Amador Hospital down the street. And really, the staff, devout Catholics, are sweethearts who treated me with a lot of respect (they must have thought I was a doctor when i arrived in my white coat to check in). It's just that the place is direly in need of renovation and general amenities reform. It's not fair to charge $76 a night for....that. The bedding's cleanliness was more than questionable as there were visible bleach stains on the comforter. Austerely starched sheets. Fabric softener should help with that.My room had a funny smell. Why shouldn't it? It seemed like cigarette smoke from 1979 had still left an imprint of its odor on the curtains. However, it did the job, and if I had to stay here again, and I was by myself, I would do it. Why? Because it's cheap. But I repeat, I would not bring a companion here in a million years. Rough it here if you need a place to be unconscious overnight in Jackson.

Our company had an issue with one of the bills, and Marje was extremely helpful and apologetic. She was such a nice person, and I was very appreciative of her concern.Highly Recommended.

It's 11pm. Can't even get anybody on the phone. Office door is locked. Have been sitting here for almost an hour waiting for the office to open up or for someone to answer the phone. It's now 5pm. Office door has been locked all day. Nobody has been in the office. Nobody answering calls. How does this place even stay open? Is it the long term residences? How? How are the lights on in this place if they can't even answer a simple phone call? You drive up to this dump of a motel just for the employees no where to be found. Not one sign of an employee. Feel like I dodged a massive bullet with this one. Goodluck to anybody who needs to book a room here. 9.9999/10 nobody will even be there to do anything for a customer.
