This is our preferred park for kiddie birthday parties because of the four large picnic tables under a shady gazebo, right next to play structures, a shady lawn and a large grassy playground. It's easy to have a birthday party here while keeping an eye on all the little ones running around, and the picnic tables are not too far from the road, which makes carrying food, games, coolers heavy with ice and water bottles, and presents (on the return trip) quite easy. The tables can't be reserved and are first come first served, but we usually carry a couple of card tables, table cloths and picnic blankets - with the plan being to just move the party to the lawn if they are all busy (we have never had that happen, but that doesn't stop my über organized better half from planning for this contingency). The only thing I wish this park had was a bathroom, or even a port-a-potty, but that seems to be a problem with most parks in Livermore. This would have been a five star review if it did.

Nice park. It's fairly easy to keep all your children in view here. The larger play structure is partially shaded at times. The smaller play structure may be somewhat difficult for children to climb as it doesn't have the standard stairs to climb. My main complaint is the ornamental plum trees, which drop lots of fruit on the sidewalks and cause a huge, gooey mess. The toddlers try to eat the stuff and it gets stuck on stroller wheels. There is a hill and a large field near the playground that the kids love to run down. Just beware of the mud.

Great park. Has 2 structures neither for very small children, but ok for walkers. My daughter loves this playground. She has been going there since she was 1 1/2 or so. There is a walk way around the playground and seems like fun. There is also a field next to the playground to fly a kite or just run around. It is also a good picnic place, because even though the playground is not shaded, but there is a lot of shade around the playground.

Lots of random dog poop the owners didn't clean up. Lots of yellow jackets all around the grass flowers. Really not enjoyable to bring my young toddler when constantly worrying about both of those things.

This is a nice, clean park in a quiet neighborhood. Play structures include swings for big kids and tots, double-wide slides, spiral slides, "zip line," swinging bridge, tic-tac-toe and varied climbing-type pieces, with bark chip flooring. Parents will enjoy the shaded seating adjacent to the play equipment. Also has a basketball court. There is a wide paved path all around the park, perfect for kids learning to ride tricycles,, bikes, etc.
