I attended week 3 of family camp. We stayed in one of the cabins. We have a 7 and almost 3 year old. This review is going to be long, since there were so many activities to enjoy. I am going to break the review into sections by activity.1. Lodging- there are camping sites, RV sites, a hotel, and cabins. We stayed in a cabin that had 5 bunk beds. It had a shower, restroom, and kitchenette that had a 4 stove burner and an oven along with a sink and mini fridge. PERFECT FOR A FAMILY!2. Horses- there were pony rides for kids under 8 and horseback riding for 8 and up. The horse back riding involved riding in a line on a trail through the woods for about 40 minutes. Great for beginners but a bit boring for intermediate and advanced riders.3. Rock climbing wall- 2 different walls that offer differing levels of challenge. I went on this and so did the 7 year old. It was challenging but safe. Very fun and helped burn off the yummy food.4. Goliath Swing- this swing can hold up to 4 people. You are strapped in and taken 60ish feet up and then dropped. Total adrenaline rush! This was a blast for adults and the 7 year old.5. Train- a miniature train that rides through the meadow and forest for 4 miles. This was a big hit for kids and adults. Very beautiful and who doesn't want to ride a train?!6. Pool- the pool is big with 2 diving boards. It was clean and well kept. The bathrooms have multiple showers which is nice when you need to rinse the kids off.7. Nature center- this is a small building but it's packed with things to discover. They have gems, stones, animals, shells, various Indian artifacts, a giant pendulum, water wheel, and more. 8. Giant zip line- super fun! You get to ride through the treetops on a really long line. You must be at least 50 lbs.9. Kinder Camp- child care!!!! We definitely took advantage of this one of the mornings so we could enjoy the adventure park. The ladies working here were very responsible and attentive with the children. The kids had fun and we got some much needed alone time.10. Adventure Park- this was an obstacle course in the trees. Not for the faint of heart! This was by far my favorite activity and was challenging. Very fun and great memories made.11. Cafeteria- all you can eat buffet style for all 3 meals. Fantastic variety of tasty food and juices. Definitely get your monies worth on this!12. Shows- each night there is a themed show, from a live rodeo to a shanty town song along. Each night was a blast for everyone. There was so much to do, we weren't able to get all the activities done! Here are the items we were unable to do: go karts, archery, water painting, leap of faith, arts and crafts center.Lastly, let's talk about the staff. You will not find a friendlier bunch! Everyone was warm and welcoming. Each person was patient and attentive with the kids. Activities were well staffed. I cannot recommend this place enough! Do yourself and you family a favor and book a week here. You will build memories that last a lifetime!

So. Much. Fun!!!! Beautiful, safe, exciting, thrilling, exhilarating, breath-taking, clean, pristine air, adventure filled.... awesome!! Love Leoni Meadows! At 4,200 ft, and close to 1,000 acres, it's the perfect backdrop for adventure and fun. No need to drive all the way to Tahoe, just a jaunt off Placerville exit, and you'll be basking in pines trees, crested bluffs, meadows and grandeur. Now the zip lines-- long, tall, above the trees. Fast enough to challenge your pulse, but not so fast that a 10 year old or 89 year old can't do it. They have varying size zip lines for different weights. I believe you have to be over 50 lbs for the giant zip line, and 90 lbs for the Colossal zip line. Either way, you'll have the time of your life.George and his staff are friendly, helpful, and certified with all the extra credential safety stuff. Plus, since this is a summer camp in the summer, they're great with kids and have helped thousands of kids conquer their fears. And, because they work with kids, I believe they have to meet extra safety requirements, so rest assured, you're in good hands. Bring a picnic lunch (or see if their delicious cafeteria is open), sunscreen, tennis shoes, water bottle, comfortable clothes (not the time to wear short shorts!). There's hiking, bike trails, and a host of other fun activities in the summer. Great team building activities, too. I can attest to it, as I chaperoned my daughter's 5/6th grade class on their team building field trip-- adventure course, giant swing, team building activities, and of course, zip lining!! Hard to tell who had more fun-- the kids and adults! Love Leoni and can't wait to go back! So, what are you waiting for!? Great price, great staff, quality, safety, fun, excitement... get out there and zip!!! Check this one off your bucket list at beautiful Leoni Meadows!

Just booked a session for Family Camp. An all inclusive one week camp experience in July. The youngest will be two years old, so we'll see how this goes. Although I haven't been here yet, Debbi has been amazing with getting back to me in a timely fashion and being patient with my endless number of questions. I'll be sure to update my review once we've experienced family camp. Fingers crossed that this is something that we'll be able to do for years to come.

We just drove around so I can't comment on the camp, but I have to say that it was very beautiful and I will be back. From what my friends, who live in Grizzly, tell me.....the people who run Leoni Meadows, are very neighborly and kind to the community. The El Dorado National Forest is amazing.

At first I thought this camp was great. I sent my child and they embarrassed her and discriminated against my family. I will never recommend them. They care more about money than the child.
