Lawler Ranch Park

This review is for the dog park. If you want a dog park that focused on community and relationships this is the one! The people here are so nice! They have little holiday parties at the party (July 4th, Halloween, Christmas, etc). This is a great place to make friends. There is a great group of regulars in the morning and evenings. There is a big dog side and also a small dog side. They share a fence line. There are also poop scoopers and a water fountain. Seating is pretty limited to a couple benches. The actually park itself while clean is a bit bare. It's mostly dirt with a few young trees. This is not the right park for a dog that just wants to sniff around because honestly there isn't much here. I don't think I've seen a fight at this park. So if your dog likes to play with other dogs and you want to make friends too this is the place! Since this area sorta backs into open space/marshlands I highly recommend staying current on flea and tick preventatives. Especially ticks. My dog got a tick on his head here. How? Probably from getting close to the bushes on the outer perimeter of the dog park fence.

Great little park. Next to a kids playground and hoops. Nice trail to walk along too. The dog park is divided for small and large dogs. It was very clean. My dog enjoyed it although she was all alone ! We will be back. :)

I went really early in the morning. It was a beautiful an sunny day. The park is super clean and my dog had a blast. Love this park.

This Park is a community Park large enough to have a very nice outdoor gathering, It has Basketball half court playground, small 1/4 me trail and an awesome dog park for your 4 legged friend. This place is awesome. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE A REST ROOM.

This is a nice clean park with a small and a large dog area. The kid park is within viewing distance so the kids can also play. It would be nice to have a water feature during the summer and one day the trees will provide shade.

Very scenic views and has a nice little walking path to look out into the suisun marsh.

Another cute neighborhood park. You can find this tucked into the Lawler Ranch subdivision in Suisun. There are 2 playgrounds of similar size, but no swings at either one. There was trash littered here and there despite there being trash cans next to the picnic tables. The picnic tables (about 6 all together) themselves are exposed to the elements, but enough distance from the playgrounds that people won't be condensed to one area. The walking path that goes around the play area is nice and the area is fairly scenic as it backs up to the Suisun Marsh. I do wish they had drinking fountains or bathrooms, but it's a fun spot if you're nearby.

My kids had a blast until my 3 year old needed to go poop. No bathrooms in sight. Terrible we had to rush all the way home to use the restroom.

This is a cute park with beautiful sunsets. Dog Park: There are a lot of dogs that go to this park including un-neutered males. Be sure to watch your dog as not all owners correct or acknowledge their dog's bad behavior. Fortunately, there are two trails where you can walk your dog in peace.

Great dog park! Has a section for small dogs and bigger dogs(25lbs+). The floor is sandy rocks which helps with clean up! Overall well maintained BUT there's a guy who's always there and is pretty rude and doesn't take accountability for his dogs bad behavior. His dogs can be pretty aggressive and territorial over the whole park (husky and 2 boston terriers) steer clear of them if you can! Otherwise a great park for the four legged pals:)
