Best cherries in Stockton or maybe Northern California. It's been a long time since I've had great cherries. Not only does this orchard have great tasting cherries, they have great looking cherries as well. They do a great job in sorting the bad ones out and giving you the best grade cherry that they can give you. You can even see them sorting them out right in front of you.I have already bought 6 huge boxes of cherries here because they are that good. Not all for me of course, but because my family loved them as well. I had family from the Bay Area over for Memorial weekend for my brothers birthday and brought a box to the party and they pretty much begged me to go back because they wanted to buy a box because the ones they get out there don't taste good. I thought they would be closed around 5:30 but they were still open and said they usually close around 6. At first they couldn't fulfill the 4 boxes I was asking for, but they went out of their way and did it for me anyways. If you don't want to buy overpriced beat up cherries at the grocery stores or that nasty old looking cherries you see at the corner head out here and get some freshly picked cherries. If you don't know how to get out here just drive down Highway 88 toward Lockeford and they will be on the side with the gravel patch with plenty of room to park. Right between 8 Mile Rd. and HWY 99.

We try to plan our trips to lake Tahoe to coincide with cherry season. This way we were always able to stop by the little cherry stand a get a few boxes of fresh cherries. They are always big, fresh and delicious. The family operated place is great, friendly and a real pleasure to talk too.

Excellent cherries! I will be back! The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because when I called on Sunday I asked the price and was told they were $5 a basket however when I got there today I was told they were $7 a basket. So I paid $14 for 2 basket which I didn't really mind. But that was not what I was expecting to pay. And they did honor the free basket for checking in.

The best cherries!!! Their cherries were beautiful, fresh picked daily and so sweet. My favorite were their rainiers but their tartarians and bing were also delicious. Just look for the red cherry balloons.

I tend to like cherry stands that only do cherries - you know that is really their farm. I love tartarians which they normally have picked, and cannot find in regular stores because of their soft texture. Bings and other varieties are available here too.

This roadside stand is well worth the stop. Their cherries are freshly picked and very tasty. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The price is very good for the quality of the fruit. We always stop here during cherry season. Buy extra because you are sure to eat a bunch of them as soon as you but them!

stopped by 25-May-2015 - everybody was very polite, vans and rainiers were delicious. Could not log in to yelp on the spot with my cell - but promised Daniela I would write a review - even got a cherry gift for the stop. Wish cherry season ran a little longer so we could get more later in June when we pass thru again.
