This is the actual dog park in Lathrop. There are several reviews of this park under the Mossdale Landing Community Park page, which is NOT a dog park. This park is long and narrow, and is great for large and small dogs, in two separate areas. There are dog waterers available, and both areas are terraced into multiple levels. Plenty of grass and room to throw balls or discs for your doggy to chase. The grassy areas are well maintained, and there aren't any mud pits to speak of. Some trees for shade, and benches, too. Also, it appears that owners are picking up after their dogs, because we haven't seen a lot of surprises in the grass. This park is a bit of a drive for us (~25 minutes), but sometimes it's worth it.ETA: This park features sally port entries for additional security. Dogs entering or leaving have to go through two sets of gates.
