Roach infested!!!!! Rent is cheap but it comes with a nasty price roaches!!! I told the manager all he did was put tramps under fridge and he said I had to remind him to change them!!! Like if is my obligation... i bough diferent types of things to kill them but they are German roaches which are so freaking hard to get rid off even tho I kept everything clean I would still see them!!!

I really like these apartments cause its just enough room for me. Took some pics when I moved in backin october lol Everything is clean and smelled nice its close to school and close to my job which I liked. It has a pool and a small laundry room. its quiet and gets the job done. The maanagement is nice. If I have a problem I call and leave a message and they do get back to me which is fine. I dont have any roaches but ots beacuse I keep it clean.

I have big doubt about people who gave good review for this apartment, this place is horrible the landlord will do anything to keep your deposit. if you got time you have to take him to court to get your deposit, if you documented everything perfect. terrible place cockroaches we sprayed couple times, but no help,

I would just like to add onto my last review. I overheard Manuel while showing a prospective tenant the property, that they could park both of their cars inside the gate if they could find an extra space. Well on Friday 4/29/21, I found a tow away sticker on my motorcycle. When I called to ask about it, Manuel starts yelling about how he told me that everyone only gets one parking spot and that he is going to tow my motorcycle. I told him about how other people park multiple cars inside the lot and he told me to worry about myself. I feel this is extremely unfair because I use a handicap spot for my main vehicle anyways because I am a kidney disease patient and most of the time can't walk very far without feeling dizzy. Plus my apartment is upstairs. Manuel is a terrible landlord and I cannot wait to be able to move from here. Not to mention the heartless rent increases during the pandemic. I have had 2 since the pandemic started. A total of $160 increase in the past year.

I love this place. Super quiet still and clean . Great place to be no crazy people here. Lol

These apartments are filled with BLACK MOLD and INFESTED WITH ROACHES and the owner (Manuel) and manager (Rosa) refuse to do anything about it. I have pictures & videos of the BLACK MOLD on the bathroom walls. Also have a video of the owner saying he refuses to clean the black mold and that he knows all the apartments have it. He wouldn't even try to clean the mold for my neighbor with asthma who has a 1 & 2 year old daughters. We have been documenting everything and these issues will be resolved in time. They won't even return calls or provide an email or number to text for communication purposes. Our car along with many others was broken into. Owner and manager are rude and extremely creepy. They harassed us about having curtains! They really do hide in bushes and spy on people, and follow you but pretend not to. Manuel, the landlord was extremely rude and condescending to me. When he raised his voice at me for simply asking why the pool is closed two days a week, I had to put him in check and let him know I would not tolerate his aggressive behavior. Needless to say, he now knows the proper boundaries and ethics of landlord-tenant relationship. We are college educated working professionals with advanced degrees. We refuse to be treated with anything less than the utmost level of respect, especially when we are paying over $825 (in Stockton 2017) for a place that is horribly maintained and literally rotting from the inside out. The lazy owner slaps a fresh coat of paint on top of the mold to hide it when a tenant moves out and before another moves in. If I had known about the BLACK MOLD, ROACH INFESTATION, ARROGANT AND RUDE MANAGEMENT, and high crime in this neighborhood, I would not have moved here in the first place - big mistake on my part. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT RENT HERE these ppl neglect their tenants & units. They are stealing people's money and not fulfilling their end of the contract and we will be seeing them in court soon.Thankfully are moving out to a better place. I will pray for this disrespectful owner and his equally crooked manager they are not good ppl just trying to steal ppl's money and pray on deposits.

As a busy, college student, I was seeking for a place to mainly sleep at night only and was not asking too much of the place since during day I would be out attending school and working. When I moved into this apartment complex, it seemed like the perfect place since it was close to school and in a relatively safe neighborhood, considering that it is Stockton.Only until after living here for a few months did I find out that I was absolutely wrong about the place. The apartment has a heating problem where it takes at least half an hour to warm the water before I could shower (imagine what it was like during the Winter; I had to wait more than 45 mins.) In addition to that, the apartment was poorly lighted at night, especially in the parking lot area. There is absolutely no lighting inside the parking lot area at night. Worse of all, the management of the place is horrible and is out to prey on the deposit money of college students. First off, management does not respond to any complaints or grievances that the resident has; they simply state that "it is how it is". Lastly, management will deduct a huge percentage off your deposit before your leave, as that is your last attempt to steal your money. Bottom line: I would NOT recommend this place to a friend, unless it is someone that I do not like. Please avoid as there are plenty other apartments in Stockton to choose from.I hope you all find this post helpful in choosing your apartment.

The management at lamplighter apartments were very professional and accommodating during the time I rented a house from them. It was a very nice place, and they were very compliant to my requests when anything had come up with maintenance, or upkeep. Thank you Manuel and Rosa!

Only good thing I have to say is that it is a quiet neighborhoodOther than that, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. OVER PRICED 1390 for a one bedroom? Then every month the rent goes up by 100. At the end we needed up paying damn near 1600 a month. Where do I start off? Roaches are never ending. They crawl EVERYWHERE, the walls, the kitchen, your food, the bathroom. We made Rosa (the landlord) aware of this and she sent "pest control". I say it that way because the first time I did see the pest control company truck outside, multiple times after I'm pretty sure she just had her maintenance man spray the apartments, which did nothing!! Second, we were called multiple times by Rosa to remove our shampoos, conditioners, etc. from the shower window, respectfully we did so but in all honesty HOW DOES THAT BOTHER HER? Third, you ARE NOT allowed to have curtains, which I always found weird but we just respected her rules. Fourth, we had family from Idaho come down to visit they spent the night with us and when they woke up the next morning HENCE AT 10AM my siblings decided to go outside get some fresh air and run around like kids do, and disrespectfully Rosa came out of her office and told her to keep it down. And when we finally got fed up and the time came for us to move out. I called her and told Rosa we'd be moving out giving her a 30 day notice only for her later on bullshit my boyfriend and tell him that I never gave her a 30 day notice only because it wasn't written ?! We then moved out and left the apartment in the same condition we received it in. Worst thing we probably left was stains on the wall and some holes WE COVERED WITH SPACKLING PASTE. I will provide pictures/videos of everything! She said the apartment was not clean and took 600$ away from our deposit. Out of 1000 we only got back 399 because it was "DIRTY". Atleast we got something as to what I've seen some of the tenants have gotten nothing back. I only had videos and I can't post them on here so I took screenshots of the videos.

Everything you need to know: - These apartments are cockroach infested - Black Mold in Every corner and window ceil- The management is just money hungry and doesn't care about tenant living conditions - Oven was not accurate in temperature at all and burned everything - The refrigerator was old and didn't work,the landlord took months to replace it.-They be bossing around the maintenance guy too . I hear the landlord and his wife yelling at him to do stuff all the time. -Cars get broken into and vandalized by the homeless ppl who live under that bridge -Landlord also placed security cameras close to bathroom windows ..kinda weird if you ask me
