Lakewood Meats & Sausage

Lakewood Meats is my go-to for sausage. When living in the area, I was accustomed to the huge variety of good sausage. After moving to Arizona, I was unable to find that same variety anywhere.Fast-forward to Google. I discovered Lakewood using Google to find a variety of sausage with a company that delivered. I was excited when I found that Lakewood not only delivered, but they also have a great assortment of links! My favorites are Pineapple (tastes Hawaiian), Alabama, which is a sweet, small link that is similar to Hawaiian Linguica breakfast sausage and my new favorite is Jalepeno-Jack. This one is perfect on the smoker and tastes similar to ones that I've had at BBQ joints.I recently made an error on an order and had to call them. I hated to ask them to undo my mistake, but the staff was cheerful and assured me that it was no trouble. I appreciated that.Best of all, I don,t have to travel to California to enjoy my favorites. I frequently have them ship to me right here in AZ. I enjoy grilling them more than anything else! I am so grateful to have found these good folks!

Lakewood Meats has been a Staple in the Suelzle family for generations!! I remember my Grandpa Milton bringing me in a kid. They've always had the best Beef Bratwurst, I am so sad they don't make beef bacon anymore. Beef sticks are great, beef jerky, cheese buttons, and kuchen OMG peach is my favorite!! I was so excited to bring my kids in and now my granddaughter as well. They are so friendly and serve everyone quickly. Always clean and orderly inside. Not much has changed since the 80's.

Friendly staff and some great meats! We really like the Jalapeno Sausages. Would recommend you check it out if you haven't already.

We have shopped at Lakewood for years! And loved it! But something has changed. The last three times we've come home with meat we didn't ask for. I guess we have to supervise whomever is packing our order. Never had to do this with Jim and Bruce. We'll now watch what their packing or go elsewhere.

I had the opportunity to try their Sage sausage recently...the best pork breakfast sausage I can remember. I would love to have them try doing turkey sausage sometime as I think it would be healthier for me but I do look forward to more of what they are so good at...the Sage sausage.John

Was in Lodi for work, stopped here and brought some beef hotdogs home. Now I have to stop and get some to bring back with me everyone I'm in town! Everything we've had from here has been tasty. Their jerky is delicious. But the regular hotdogs are a favorite!

Quality meat, locally owned, excellent Service!!When you want "the good stuff" this is the place to go in Lodi!!

The flavor in the sausage's was not like it used to be. It was dryer then moisture and juicy. Did the business change hands? Please reply and let us all know.Thank you.
