This was our first time using this shop as we typically take our vehicles to the dealership. We are a two car family and one of our vehicles was already at the shop when we had an issue with the other one. Isn't that always the way? The dealership was taking it's time and we did not want to be without a car for long so on the recommendation of a friend we gave this shop a try. I did remove on star because of their prices. Our final cost was over twice as much as originally estimated and overall costs were higher than the average for this area. Their credit card processing fee is also very high; It added an additional charge of $15.41 to our bill just so we could pay it. That being said, our car was dropped of and the work was completed on the same day. The employees called us to apprise us of new information as it came about and to discuss decisions before work was completed. We have not had any problems with the work they did. Overall we are satisfied and if you don't mind paying a little more for fast, efficient work I would recommend giving this location a try.

Customer service is really good. They are honest. They call before proceeding what need to be done and what they to be replaced on parts .

I needed major work done on my Tundra. Pads and rotors for 4 wheels, rear shocks and wheel alignment. I got a good quote and the final bill was very close. All the work was done quickly.

I am very pleased with service at Lakewood auto repair. My appointment was for an oil change. I agreed to their recommendation to change my air filter. When they showed me the old filter, I wondered why no service provider mentioned it at previous oil changes. It looked like it hadn't been changed since the car was new. I will go back to Lakewood again and bring my other car as well.

I definitely recommend this Auto repair. They are fast and affordable. They explained exactly what was going on and how they were going to fix what was going on within the hour of the car arriving. It is a WAY better alternative than going to the dealership, especially for a Volkswagen.

I came here trusting that the place was professional enough to have the knowledge to fix my car, unfortunately that was not the case. I walked out a couple times with a problematic car. Yes, you paid one towing fee because the car broke down not that far out after picked up and according to you it was under your warranty and it was your responsibility because the job was not done right. The "free" parts also your responsibility for not addressing the issue correctly the first time. You cannot make the customer responsible for inspecting your work, you are the professional here. And as mentioned a million times the temperature gauge never changed from normal temperature. If you had checked the truck correctly the day it was dropped off the second or third time you would have seen this.

I rarely do reviews (I know, shame on me) with this being only my 7th review on Yelp in 15 yrs of opening an account. I share this so you know there has to be major motivation to cause me to review a business. Lakewood's handling of a delicate and unfortunate situation provided such motivation. I needed an entire timing belt kit installed on my Kia Soul and, based on my research, Lakewood was not only the cheapest but had the best reviews.Unfortunately, we ran into a snag but these folks bent over backwards to make it right, expending great effort, time and expense to stand behind their work. What a rare and remarkable find to locate such an honest and friendly business! They went out of their way to be brutally honest about the situation with the best communication skills I have encountered from a business in a long time.When the work was finally completed to their satisfaction, I drove away in amazement at how well my vehicle was running!
