Lakeview Village

I lived here for less then a year and let me tell you my sisters car has gotten the widows broken, and my brothers car his tires stolen people are always looking in the trash and the mail box has gotten broken into, this place make look nice but when it comes to safety they don't do nothing a security is supposed to be driving at night I have never seen him and there are no cameras many incidents have happened to the neighbors and no one does nothing about it, this place charges a lot to not have security or make us feel safe

After living here for a month now I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this apartment complex. Honestly, Stephanie that works in the office has made the move in process, easy, convenient, super quick and I can tell she works hard! She's on top of it! Good communication. Maintenance came in a timely manner when I had an issue. I also feel safe, and the neighbors around me that I have met so far, have all been really approachable and nice. The lake..... I love it! I walk my dog there all the time and my fiancé goes fishing in it often! It's relaxing to just sit by the water! Also, I haven't seen any homeless people by the lake or on the complex premises..... like I said, I feel safe. I am so glad we chose to move here!

The female property manager was incredibly rude and used sharp, short sentences. Definitely not having anything to do with this place.I was inquiring about the property and she acted as if I was bothering her. Every time I talked, she really wasn't listening. Ever time she talked, she wanted to make a point about something negative. She seemed to have a very immature disregard for informative or social conversation. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place if she's managing the day to day tasks.

Nice, clean affordable apartments in Stockton...with a lake right next to them. Ok, maybe it's a man made lake but it still looks nice. I have a parent that used to live in the apartments right down the street that were a little less expensive a month but were not quite as nice or well maintained. When she thought about moving she decided that she wanted to live next to the water and she got her wish. Even though these apartments are right next to the lake not every apartment faces the water so she was lucky enough to get one with a nice view looking over the lake. There are a few points that I love about these apartments. First I love the fact that they have washer dryer hookups (at least the one she got does). One of the things that really sucks about apartment living is when you have to lug your things down to the laundromat every week or two in the hopes of clean clothes. Her apartment has a washer dryer hookup and the location in the apartment is well placed. Secondly this location seems less like apartments and more like town houses. You actually have a real mailing address instead of an address and an apartment number if that is any indication of what it is like. Also one of the things she likes most about the apartments is the fact that they are really good in fixing maintenance issues. When her microwave was having issues they replaced it. When her garbage disposal quit they fixed it. They even take care of little things like the smoke detectors. They lose a star for the fact that they are more expensive than other surrounding locations and the fact that even though they have a pool and spa the last couple times I went to use the spa it was cold and not usable. They used to have a basketball court out in front by the street and sidewalk that seemed to not get much use and they recently tore it down and built some little storage areas and playground for the residents. (The storage areas are of course available for a monthly fee.) Lakeview Village gets a solid four stars in my book...one of the nicer all around apartment locations in this area of Stockton.:0)

I have seen quite a few negative reviews about this complex. To be honest these negative reviews baffle me. I have been a resident here for over 4 years, old management and new management, and have had nothing short of an amazing experience. Laura, property manager, has been nothing but helpful and understanding. Never once has she been rude as has been mentioned in a few comments. The maintenance crew is very professional and go out of their was not to impact your daily life. Overall the apartments themselves are very clean, well maintained and oh so quiet. You can walk out on any weekend and not here any noise. This is about the fifth property I have lived at in my 45 years of existence and is by far the best.

Crap apartments. Seriously. These apartments have a lake behind them. That lake brings crazy, huge spiders. I've found spiders in the bathtub, my sons bed, clothes, corners of my ceilings, just about everywhere. The complex doesn't charge a deposit for dogs so everyone here has dogs. And all these dogs like to bark. From my unit, I could hear 6 dogs barking on a daily basis. Music go my ears. Before we moved here, we loved to go on family walks. We can't really do that around here because there are gnats everywhere! And they love to fly right into your mouth. The lighting in the complex is horrible. If we come home late at night I can't even get my key into the keyhole because it's so dark. Oh, and walls are paper thin. I ran into the bathroom the other day to grab tissue paper and could hear my upstairs neighbor peeing.There's a musty smell to our apartment. It has like an old smoker smell to it. The cabinets in the kitchen leave a weird smell/taste on our Tupperware and kids sippys/cups. When I told management, she told me she doesn't care about "old cabinets". Really lady? I could go on and on about these apartments and not with good stuff. I wouldn't refer anyone to these apartments.

I had a bad experience living here. Steph, who was management at the location was difficult, despite the initial facade she put on during the lease-signing process. It was hard to get a response for things and I had to reach out to the corporate office. It was only then that she would return my call. And when she did, I was greeted with a dismissive and arrogant attitude. On that note, corporate is very helpful. However, it is onsite management that residents mainly deal with and, again, she was difficult, scattered, and unorganized. It was also concerning that paperwork was inconsistent. Inconsistent numbers in terms of fees on different documentations. Other concerns: she wouldn't give me a copy of my lease when I requested it. She backdated paperwork to make it look like it was done on a specific date and send it late to me right before it was to be signed. I'm guessing this was so it wouldn't look like she forgot to do things. She also gave me keys that didn't work.

Moved here in March 10,2023 about 7 months ago I don't recommend this place at all! If you want to feel unsafe and spend money like crazy then this place is for you!I can only say negative things about this place seen lots of things like cars seating on blocks with no rims or tires, cars broken into, mailbox broken into,and stealing peoples packages from doors it's not a gated place so need to be aware of all that., I'm really mad because I got my car broken into in august 30,2023 and today October 15,2023 my brothers car was seating on blocks with no rims or tires., talk to Steph about it she said she couldn't do anything about it to talk to my insurance, we pay 2,300 a month for rent with a on foot security included I have never ever seen the security that we are paying for She has no cámaras only at the pool to keep an eye on the ppl that live here and don't follow rules so she can be on your ass for that, she thinks having cámaras around the property is point less and a waste of money, To be honest I can't wait for my lease to be over so I can't get out of this place and never come back One of the unsafest place here in stockton The view, the lake are not worth it stay out of this place

Security here is nonexistent. Wheels stolen off of cars on MORE than one occasion. Lots of trespassing to fish in the lake although there are no trespassing signs posted. Management is not responsive to complaints and concerns about this. Do yourself a favor and find a gated community.

Lakeview Village offers the best of living here in Stockton, Ca . A huge plus is the lake, which is full of wildlife, bass, perch, catfish and croppie fishing (catch and release only), and beautiful sunsets. The community here is very tight knit, quiet, very clean, and dog friendly. The Garibaldi crew maintain the upkeep on this property continuously and are always cleaning/updating the premises. The rental price for a unit on this lake is unbeatable! Manager Stephe Grosse is the best, she is all business and works to ensure the process runs smooth and efficient. Each unit is very cozy, large, safe, has washer/dryer capability in each unit and even was built with a wood burning fireplace, wow it's like living on a resort. Contact Lakeview Village today before it's too late, as units are constantly being rented out, reducing others opportunities to live in such a wonderful place.
